DON’T MISS THIS → Wendy Walk L.A. on June 4. Walk to raise awareness and funds for sarcoma, often known as the “orphan disease.” The 7th Annual event begins at The Jonathan Club in Santa Monica and continues with participants walking together along the Santa Monica Beach. Money raised from the event goes directly to funding international research for sarcoma. Get tickets here.
BRING THE FAMILY HERE → The Ocean Institute’s Father’s Day Adventure at Sea on June 19 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Hop aboard the tall ship Spirit of Dana Point where you can steer the ship, help raise the sail, watch the cannon fire-up and listen to legendary sea tales. Enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the ship’s cook as you sit back and enjoy California’s beautiful coastline.
HEAD TO → Last Remaining Seats, the Los Angeles Conservancy’s popular classic film series. This year marks the event’s 30th season, running June 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22 and 25 at Broadway’s iconic movie palaces downtown. From Top Gun at the Los Angeles Theatre to Singin’ in the Rain at the Theatre at Ace Hotel, the event also includes special backstage tours, panel discussions and post-show film trivia at nearby Clifton’s Cafeteria.
