by | Sep 27, 2016

The colorful fall season is approaching in the nation’s largest mountain resort, and ski season will be here before we know it. As we daydream about the vibrant fall foliage and the first blanket of fresh Utah powder, below is a round-up of what’s new and what’s coming to Park City Resort.

Apex Residences Breaks Ground

The newest residential offering, which will bring a new brand of contemporary mountain luxury to Park City, is getting underway atop Canyons Village. Developer Columbus Pacific recently hosted a gathering of Park City’s biggest influencers to celebrate the groundbreaking of Apex Residences. The slope side community will feature 63 exquisitely crafted, ski-in/ski-out residences boasting open, airy interiors, three to five-bedroom designs and generous windows capturing far-reaching mountain and Canyons Village views. A stunning clubhouse will feature a heated pool, spa and fitness center, providing year-round enjoyment to residents and guests. Homeowners enjoy an effortless homeowner experience, including turnkey residential and concierge service. The first residences are scheduled to be completed during the 2017-2018 season. Viridian To Grace The Canyons Golf Course

Columbus Pacific also recently unveiled its second residential community, Viridian Park City, which will feature a collection of 21 contemporary residences situated along the 11th fairway of the new Canyons Golf Course. One to four-bedroom residences showcase clean, minimalist design with expansive glass window walls that take advantage of every possible viewpoint, from the green fairways to the slopes. Private amenities include an outdoor pool, spa, fire pit and putting green, and the nearby Frostwood Gondola provides seamless access to Canyons Village and Park City Resort. ViridianParkCity.com

Canyons Village Transformation Underway

The new residential offerings are designed to enhance the long-term vision of Canyons Village, where plans are underway to transform the lively base area into a top-tier international destination. Recently unveiled plans include a proposed conference center, aquatic center and the creation of a pedestrian-scaled walkable village with outdoor spaces, amenities, shops and restaurants. The 2015-2016 season marked the first since Vail Resorts connected Canyons Village and Park City Resort to create the largest mountain resort in the country, with 7,300 acres of skiable terrain and 400 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The expansion into Europe gives pass holders access to a total of 19 ski resorts in North America and Europe this year, as well as the slopes of Perisher in Australia.
