The Residences At The Sawyer Debuts Beside Sacramento’s Prized Golden 1 Center

by | Apr 13, 2017

The Agency celebrated the launch of The Residences at The Sawyer, offering an amenity-rich, full-service living experience at Downtown Commons, Sacramento’s new epicenter of sports, culture and entertainment. The offering features 45 contemporary residences perched atop The Sawyer, A Kimpton Hotel, located steps away from Golden 1 Center, the world’s first LEED Platinum sports arena and home to the Sacramento Kings.

“This is the first residential offering of its kind in Sacramento, placing residents amidst the energy and excitement of the city’s revitalized downtown center,” said Christopher Miller, Vice President of The Agency Development Group. “Residents enjoy a new level of exclusivity, including private residential and hotel amenities, as well as a host of privileges at Golden 1 Center.”

Among the amenities and services are a Residents’ Lounge, outdoor pool terrace, fitness studio, 24-hour concierge, turnkey residential service, and valet. Residents also enjoy exclusive access to Sacramento Kings games and other sold-out entertainment experiences, preferred rates on select events, priority ticket options, and access to the arena from the residential parking level.

The Residences at The Sawyer was envisioned to weave the natural surroundings of Sacramento into its design. Through intelligent, forward-thinking architecture by House & Robertson Architects, Inc., the residences provide a quiet, peaceful reprieve from city life while capturing the energy and excitement of the urban center below. Homes range from one-bedroom, 789-square-foot residences to sprawling, 3,323-square-foot penthouses with private terraces overlooking Downtown Commons. Bright, airy interiors by Puccini Group feature highly curated design detail and expansive windows that capture far-reaching city views.

The Agency Development Group, paired with the Sacramento Kings and JMA Ventures, LLC., unveiled The Residences at The Sawyer Tuesday at a private, grand opening celebration before the Kings’ last regular season home game. Guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the residential offerings and amenities in the newly completed sales gallery. They enjoyed hand-crafted cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Sam Marvin of Echo & Rig, a new addition to the Downtown Commons culinary scene coming this fall.

“Sacramento has begun its transformation into a world-class city,” said Vivek Ranadive, Kings Owner and Chairman, about the city recently selected by Forbes as one of the top 20 markets in the country to invest in housing in 2017. “The Residences at The Sawyer creates a unique living experience located in the epicenter of Sacramento’s growth, connected to art, culture, retail, dining, sports, and entertainment.”

Within walking distance from the residences are Golden 1 Center, the California State Capitol, the city’s weekly farmers’ markets, farm-to-fork eateries, creative coffee hubs, and the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op. The city is revered for its active lifestyle, with plentiful parks, jogging and biking paths, including the connection to the 32-mile American River Bike Trail, located seconds from The Residences at The Sawyer.
