Turks and Caicos Villa Sells for Record $7.6M

by | Jul 3, 2017

The Agency is pleased to announce the sale of 24 Cherokee Road for $7.625 million—the highest-priced residential sale in Turks and Caicos this year to date.

Listed by Ian Hurdle, who represented both the buyer and seller, the 7,649-square-foot villa, located on Providenciales, offers unrivaled views of the entire Grace Bay Beach coastline, with some of the island’s best snorkeling right off its doorstep.

Affectionately known as Mothershouse, the villa was designed by award-winning architect Ron Shaw, and features seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, a triple-edge infinity pool and expansive yoga deck ideal for hosting beachside soirées.

Among the first of the new generation of luxury vacation villa rentals to have cropped up on the coveted Caribbean Island, the residence has boasted nightly rates of up to $7,000 during the high season, making it a promising investment opportunity.

“We are delighted to have represented the seller in the successful marketing and sale of Mothershouse,” says Ian. “We are even more delighted to have matched buyer with seller. Given the caliber of the property and the record sale price, I am confident we will continue to see our market grow and that further records will be broken before the year is out; especially given the imminent introduction of global luxury brands to the island.”
