The Agency gave a whole new meaning to the term “Happy Hour” on Thursday, October 12, as Mauricio Umansky got behind the bar and shook up the good stuff at Valley hotspot XOC Tequila Grill for an evening benefiting Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Friends, family, and fans turned out in droves to get a taste of Mauricio’s signature margaritas and enjoyed savory Mexican fare by sponsored venue host XOC Tequila Grill as they mixed and mingled for a good cause. The event, sponsored by Hilltop Securities, Polacheck’s Jewelers, and SoulCycle Calabasas, concluded with a raffle for a $2,000 gift certificate to Polacheck’s Jewelers, and lucky attendees went home with totes filled with The Agency swag and free passes to SoulCycle Calabasas. In total, $4,000 was raised for CHLA—the most money raised for the hospital from DipJars in the shortest amount of time.
“Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is particularly close to my heart,” says Mauricio. “I am so happy to have teamed up with XOC Tequila Grill and put my bartending skills to work to raise money for the hospital.”
