The season of giving starts early in Phoenix, and The Agency is rising to the occasion in support of some of the most impactful nonprofit organizations in the community. On September 16, The Agency teamed up with Fresh Start Women’s Foundation for its first Wine, Women & Shoes event. More than 400 stiletto-clad ladies joined the luncheon and traveling fashion show, which brings women together to celebrate wine, style, and causes that matter. Our own Mauricio Umansky and Billy Rose joined for the event at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix which raised more than $150,000 to benefit Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. The nonprofit’s mission is to provide women with education, resources, and the support they need to positively transform their lives.

“Supporting women is a cause that is incredibly close to my heart,” says Mauricio. “The Agency strives to align with causes that make a difference in women’s lives, and Fresh Start is an organization that works tirelessly to help women gain access to the tools and resources they need.”

As part of the event, a team of hardworking volunteer valets, dubbed “Shoe Guys,” helped women shop, try on shoes and pose for photos, all while ensuring guests were entertained. The Agency even enjoyed a runway moment where dozens of “Shoe Guys” sporting The Agency tees paraded down the runway to roaring cheers as part of the fashion show.

But it wasn’t all champagne and shoes that weekend for The Agency team; Billy and Mauricio’s arrival in Phoenix on Friday, September 15 kicked off a full day of meetings, motivational speaking sessions, real estate business coaching, team celebration, and socializing, The Agency-style. “We are incredibly excited about how quickly The Agency’s Arizona office is growing and pushing new boundaries, and we applaud our local team for its commitment to community enrichment,” says Billy. “We look forward to our next Arizona visit and getting to know more people and organizations doing great things in the community.”
