An evening that delighted the senses at one of the swankiest venues in town is how guests celebrated the closing night of the latest Inman Luxury Connect conference. Co-hosted by The Agency Development Group and Mr. C Residences, the event at Mr. C Beverly Hills pulled out all the stops to welcome more than 250 guests, including the most influential, top-producing real estate agents from around the world.
The event was themed “Unmasked,” in honor of the first public launch of Mr. C Residences, the collection of five homes pairing ownership with the acclaimed services and amenities of the famed Cipriani hotel, Mr. C Beverly Hills. Four residences remain available for sale, featuring architecture by one of California’s most noted architects, Ray Kappe, and contemporary interiors by Italian designer Marcello Pozzi, who also provided the interior design for the hotel.
Guests were treated to a taste of the lifestyle the offering provides, walking the red carpet upon arrival to hotel’s pool terrace. They were greeted by the bowtie-clad staff serving passed bellinis, champagne, and fine wine. Decadent cuisine from the Restaurant at Mr. C included baby lamb chops with rosemary jus, sea scallop with prosciutto and sage, and caviar on blinis with crème fraîche and smoked salmon.
In true L.A. fashion, the entertainment for the evening was as West Coast-cool as it gets. An elegant dancer mingled amidst the crowd, moving to the DJ-spun music, passing out champagne from her illuminated skirt. Blown sugar sculptor Shinobu Ichiyanagi, the only one of his kind in the U.S., took requests and created individualized candy crafts for guests. A photo booth provided hours of entertainment, where guests snapped memories, as well as Instagram inspiration. Three of the furnished, model homes available for sale were opened for guests, each programmed with entertainment of their own.
Residence 1259 featured a custom, aromatic experience by The Fragrance Bar; Residence 1255 featured cocktail pairings by BTL SVC and provided the sugar sculptor with his studio for the evening; Residence 1253 featured a chocolate truffle bar by Tobi Tobin. Parked outside the residences was a collection of premium electric cars from the evening’s automotive sponsor, Tesla.
Agents enjoyed an exclusive glimpse inside Mr. C Residences, each of which features two bedroom suites, gourmet Bulthaup kitchens, multiple terraces, and dedicated entertaining spaces.
The event provided the closing night festivities for Inman Luxury Connect, a curated event that welcomes real estate agents from around the world for a conference of thought-provoking content designed to elevate their business and build their referral network. The Agency is thrilled to work with Inman on a regular basis, whether hosting events or participating in their conferences, with our agents regularly appearing as experts on panels at industry events in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
