The Agency’s July Hotlist

by | Jul 27, 2018

Summer may be in full swing, but there’s no break for the busy bees at The Agency. Here’s a look at the properties and personalities making a buzz this month.

NATASHA BARRETT → “In the hottest real estate markets, houses and condos can go into contract within 24 hours of listing,” says The New York Times. As a result, many agents are seeing an influx of sight-unseen purchases driven by low inventory and high demand. Take The Agency’s own Natasha Barrett, who found a Craftsman home in L.A. for an out-of-state client, Facetiming and emailing video tours to bridge the geographic gap and seal the deal.

43123 VIA SIENA  This custom-built, contemporary Mediterranean estate in the coveted Toscana Country Club nabbed a feature in Palm Springs Life. Represented by Richard Bartholomew, the five-bedroom, six-bath, 6,300-square-foot property in Indian Wells boasts unobstructed, south-facing mountain views, a dramatic, arcade-like entry, saltwater pool with tanning shelf and elaborate, outdoor entertaining areas overlooking the Jack Nicklaus golf course.

JAMES HARRIS  “For sellers, working with an agency that has a robust social media marketing strategy can mean more eyes on their homes, and moving them off the market faster,” writes Mansion Global. When James Harris and David Parnes listed a property in Culver City, they launched an innovative marketing plan, giving video tours of the neighborhood on social media that drew the attention of buyers. “We’re able to provide information through the platforms that we have, and let people come to us,” said James. “The selling is secondary and the information comes first.”

21757 CASTLEWOOD DRIVE → This stunning glass house in Malibu by architect Ed Niles caught the attention of Mansion Global. Represented by Sandro Dazzan and secluded in the hills, the one-of-a-kind property is an artful conglomeration of glass walls and steel beams, just a short drive from Carbon Beach. Showcasing Pacific Ocean views, the three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home counts an elevator, stainless steel Bulthaup kitchen and swimming pool among its enviable amenities.

31654 BROAD BEACH → The 4,456-square-foot Malibu beach house Caitlyn Jenner once rented for respite from the paparazzi made headlines in New York Post and Architectural Digest this month. Represented by James Harris, David Parnes and Sandro Dazzan, the stunning home showcases a modern, open layout, chef-caliber kitchen and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

642 PERUGIA WAY → MDLLA stars James Harris and David Parnes gave Fox 11’s Marla Tellez an exclusive first look at this newly constructed Bel Air manse ahead of the property’s recent VIP launch party. The 15,000-square-foot contemporary stunner, which the pair represents alongside Mauricio Umansky, showcases a 40-foot, sky-lit atrium entry, 1,500-square-foot master suite, fully stocked wine cellar and 60-foot infinity-edge pool overlooking views of the Bel Air Country Club.

MANDARINA → The resort and residential destination north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico caught the eye of PRISM for its commitment to sustainable design. Envisioned to preserve the natural landscape, the master-planned community features One&Only Mandarina Private Homes, among the first One&Only villas to own in the world. Exclusively represented by The Agency Development Group, the 55 ultra-private villas feature innovative, contemporary design, with the Founders’ Collection having officially reached the halfway sold milestone.

13926 SUNSET BOULEVARD – Owned by actor Dennis Quaid, this breathtaking Spanish estate in the desirable Palisades Riviera was featured in Mansion Global. Represented by Chris Hicks, the 6,114-square-foot home was built in the 1920s and stunningly reimagined with the perfect blend of Old Hollywood elegance and contemporary appeal. Ultra-private, resort-like grounds include a large pool and spa and lush yard with mature fruit trees.
