Curated by a team of visionaries, industry leaders and influential global design brands working together to shape the future of luxury lifestyle through architecture, audio, art and contemporary design, The Art of Sound symposium debuted four days of eclectic programming at Frank Lloyd Wright’s landmark Norman Lykes House in Scottsdale.

The symposium, exhibition and immersive experience welcomed well-heeled influencers from around the globe along with local VIPs for a range of panels and presentations exploring contemporary architecture and its impact on art and design. Represented by The Agency’s Roxanne Johnson, Jack Luciano, and Raul Siqueiros, the landmark Norman Lykes House proved the perfect setting for the dynamic event. Designed to blend in with the curves of the surrounding desert mountain, the iconic masterpiece is the last home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and one of only fourteen circular homes by the master architect. Perched on a rocky peak atop Phoenix Mountain Preserve, the home showcases 360-degree desert, mountain and city views, with a unique round shape that offered the perfect acoustical environment for a special sound experience by Sonus faber.

“The Art of Sound experience was an idea conceptualized to showcase the ultimate in ultra-high-end living and home design,” said Mike Ware, Founder and CEO of LMC Entertainment. “Our vision was to create an immersive experience where luxury influencers and VIPs could experience the very best in sound, interior design, art and architecture at a luxury property that is an icon of modern architecture and design.”

Presented by The Agency alongside Legendary Music Cinema, Home Entertainment of Scottsdale, high-end audio brands McIntosh Laboratory, Sonus faber and McIntosh Audio Research and Tempe-based contemporary furniture showroom Studio3125, the pop-up event transformed the midcentury modern masterpiece into the world’s most exclusive audio destination.

Among the highlights of the event was a special thought leader panel and awards ceremony dubbed “The Visionaries.” The thought-provoking panel explored the origins of architecture as told through the philosophies of Frank Lloyd Wright and various pioneers in complementary fields. The discussion featured Jack Luciano, Partner of The Agency Scottsdale, as well as guest moderator Claudia Kapple of CLL Concept Lighting Lab, Stuart Graff, Partner of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Jennifer Wilkinson, Founder/Creative Director of Studio 3125, Mike Ware, Founder and CEO of LMC Home Entertainment and Livio Cucuzza, Chief Designer for Sonus faber.

“The Agency was thrilled to participate in this exciting event, which celebrated the past, present and future of high-end living in Arizona and beyond,” said Raul. “With its incredible acoustics and iconic design, The Norman Lykes House proved the perfect setting for this groundbreaking symposium and celebration of all things luxury lifestyle.”
