Observer and The Hollywood Reporter Recognize Four of The Agency’s Own

by | Oct 3, 2018

Our amazing agents have been snagging accolades left and right as of late, recognized for their impressive sales volume, headline-making deals and innovative approach to real estate. Over the past few weeks, a handful of The Agency’s finest made headlines in Observer and The Hollywood Reporter, topping the glossies’ most prestigious annual real estate rankings.

“If a person’s home is their castle, then the 59 people we chose to profile for our 2018 Residential Real Estate Power List are the castle-builders, the castle-keepers, the castle-owners—in short, the most influential and powerful people currently shaping the U.S. residential real estate industry,” writes Observer. The magazine recognized our Co-Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky as one of real estate’s key players driving the industry forward in 2018. Observer noted Mauricio’s personal accomplishments, such as the $35 million sale of the estate of late Philadelphia Flyers owner Ed Snider and his #3 ranking on Real Trends’ “The Thousand 2018”, as well as those of The Agency as a whole, including our third consecutive year ranking among Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing privately owned companies in the country.

The Hollywood Reporter shined a spotlight on L.A.’s Top 30 Real Estate Agents, and our very own James Harris, David Parnes, Santiago Arana and Mauricio Umansky made the coveted list. From Santiago’s $23 million Brentwood development, which he built and sold to a certain NBA star, to James’ and David’s staggering sales inventory ($1 billion in signed listings to date—including the Presidential Suite at the legendary Hotel Bel Air), the four have plenty to be proud of.

“I am humbled to be recognized on Observer’s prestigious Power List and proud to be among my peers in The Hollywood Reporter,” says Mauricio. “I congratulate my colleagues on their amazing achievements.”
