The Agency’s November Hotlist

by | Nov 20, 2018

Taking a break from those Thanksgiving leftovers? We’ve got you covered. Sit back, relax and indulge in The Agency’s November Hotlist—it’s heavy on the headlines and easy on the waistline.

5107 TURTLE TAIL  “When you mix stunning beaches with one of the lowest rainfall averages in the Caribbean, and add in easy access from metropolitan hubs such as New York City and Miami, Turks & Caicos checks off all of the right boxes,” touts Forbes. And when it comes to the islands, nothing compares to Gansevoort Villas, a secret hideaway that offers the perks of a private villa with the unrivaled amenities and services of a luxury hotel. Get the lowdown on Forbes.

MAISON ROGER  This month, Beverly Hills Magazine shined a spotlight on 90210’s hottest properties and big-ticket listings, and it’s no surprise that Maison Roger, an iconic Beverly Hills compound built by Paul R. Williams and represented by Stacy Gottula, made the cut. “Comfortable doesn’t even begin to describe it. Try dreamy, luxurious, sprawling, tasteful, hospitable, lavish…” the glossy asserts. With its glamorous pool, north-south facing tennis court and vintage bowling alley, not to mention three separate, Ralph Lauren-inspired structures—what’s not to love?

JAMES HARRIS & DAVID PARNES  Need a permanent vacation? Robb Report rounded up the “hottest (and coolest) places to buy a vacation home” and Puerta Cortes, a 580-acre community in La Paz represented by The Agency’s PR team, topped the list. Our own James Harris and David Parnes also offered their expertise to buyers looking to invest in La La Land. “The golden rule of real estate in the U.S. remains true: solid properties priced correctly will always sell, and comparatively quickly in Los Angeles,” James asserts. We’ll take their word for it; they don’t call them the “Billion Dollar Brits” for nothing.

8020 BRIAR SUMMIT DR.  All eyes are on 8020 Briar Summit this month, an impeccably maintained Hollywood Hills post and beam owned by actor Jesse Bradford and represented by Stefan Pommepuy. Designed by architect-to-the-stars Richard Dorman and built in 1959, the single-story home, which includes 3,200 square feet of open-plan living space and a swimming pool set on a lush, quarter-acre lot, made headlines in LA Times and Variety

3122 NICHOLS CANYON ROAD → Actor Jamie Dornan of Fifty Shades of Gray fame officially sold his sunlit midcentury modern L.A. abode after just three months on the market. Represented by Jeff Kohl, the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home, which was designed and built in 1959 and revolves around a stunning, glass-walled central atrium, was the toast of Architectural Digest. Kudos to the lucky buyer!

THE AGENCY COLLECTIVE  The Agency has officially expanded to South Florida with the debut of The Agency Collective—and Miami Agent Magazine got the full scoop. Led by top Florida agents Chris Franciosa and Jared Ringel, the South Florida office will also bring the addition of The Agency Development Group and The Agency Creates to Boca Raton.

447 W. MARISCAL ROAD  This beautiful midcentury modern Palm Springs abode, steeped in Old Hollywood history, earned major praise in Forbes. Located in the prestigious “Little Tuscany” neighborhood of Palm Springs, the home, known as The Tea Dance House, was once a hangout for Hollywood elite during the swinging sixties. Its name is an homage to Dean Martin, who would host infamous Sunday afternoon tea dances at the residence. Represented by Brandi Pratt and complete with a pool and white piano—a gift from the rat pack crooner himself—the home is ready and waiting for a new legend to enjoy.
