Call it a hot streak—The Agency’s third office in Northern California is now open for business. Marin County, San Francisco’s scenic neighbor to the North, is a kaleidoscope of rolling hills, vast redwood groves and beautiful bays with just the right amount of metropolitan appeal. From the charming waterfront shops and galleries of Sausalito to sunset kayaking and cold oysters in Tomales Bay; from misty morning hikes in Muir Woods to world-class art, culture and cuisine in San Rafael—Marin County proves you really can have it all.

The Marin office will be led by Tracy McLaughlin, regarded as one of the top brokers in the country and the highest-producing agent in Marin County since 2005—a national record for any county in the country.

“The Agency is a company that I have long admired for its collaborative spirit and marketing prowess,” Tracy says. “Mauricio Umansky and Billy Rose created a firm that is one of the most innovative in the real estate industry, and I am honored to be leading operations in Marin County. The Agency’s presence will bring a breath of fresh air to Marin, and I’m looking forward to representing the brand as we further expand in Northern California.”

“2019 will be a year of growth for The Agency, and we are delighted to not only welcome one of the most revered agents in Northern California to our firm but to have her lead our Marin office,” says Mauricio. “Establishing an office in Marin County has always been a part of our strategic growth plan, and we look forward to announcing new offices shortly.”

McLaughlin recently completed her first book, You’ll Never Know What You Left on the Table - How America Leaves Billions Behind In The Purchase And Sale of Residential Real Estate And How You Can Maximize The Value Of Your Own Home. In 2006, Tracy started Morgan Lane in Marin County. She grew the Morgan Lane brand until 2009 when she purchased Pacific Union, which grew to the fifth largest brokerage in the U.S. before recently being acquired by Compass for a record price. A graduate from U.C. Berkeley, she pursued graduate studies at Stanford for broadcast journalism and was a former reporter and anchor for various NBC affiliates around the country before transitioning to a career in real estate.

“The Agency is on a swift trajectory for growth, and we are fortunate to be able to partner with such elite real estate professionals like Tracy as we expand our company,” says Billy. “We are looking forward to more growth as the new year progresses and to celebrate more office openings in 2019.”

The Agency’s Marin office is located at 285 Magnolia Ave., Larkspur, CA 94939.
