The Agency Collective Hosts First Annual Carribean Real Estate & Investment Summit

by | Apr 16, 2019

The Agency made a splash in South Florida last year with the debut of our flagship office in Boca Raton, followed by our second and third locations in Aventura and Coral Gables. Now that we’ve put down roots up and down the coast, we’re proud our esteemed agents are serving as industry innovators in collaboration with their colleagues in the Caribbean market.

On Friday, April 5th, The Agency Collective hosted the first annual Caribbean Real Estate and Investment Summit at its flagship office in the heart of Boca Raton. Sponsored in part by The Agency Collective, The Agency Turks & Caicos and The PLS.com, the summit brought together top-producing agents, developers, architects, investors and attorneys from across the region under one roof. In the spirit of collaboration, these experts shared their networks, market assessments and experience, participating in panels and breakout sessions that covered a wide array of topics—from regional trends to the purchasing process in Caribbean destinations like the Dominican Republic and Turks & Caicos.

“Our first annual Caribbean Real Estate and Investment Summit was a huge success and a testament to the continued interest and strength of this regional market,” said Gina De Varona, Managing Director of The Agency Development Group. “We’re thrilled to have served as the host site for this collaborative and educational event, with so many of our colleagues from far and wide joining us, including representatives from the Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, Saint Lucia, the Cayman Islands and more. We look forward to continuing to bridge the gap in the market as we further The Agency’s footprint in South Florida and the Caribbean.”

Adds Ian Hurdle, Managing Partner of The Agency Turks & Caicos, “It was great to meet with so many individuals in the industry from across the Caribbean. I think the number of attendees from so many different countries shows that the real estate market is in an incredibly healthy position across the region.”
