SPOT UFO’S HERE – Billed as the world’s biggest UFO conference, Contact in the Desert, now in its 7th year, brings together a team of experts from around the world to discuss the latest developments in UFO studies, government disclosure, ancient civilizations, crop circles and more. Taking place May 31st through June 3rd at Renaissance Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, attendees from across the globe are invited to take part in panel discussions, workshops, film screenings, meet and greets, night sky gazing and tours of the area’s historic UFO sights. ESCAPE HERE – The family-friendly Escape Room Palm Springs challenges participants with themed escape experiences ranging from a bank heist—sneak past security, hack your way into a computer, break into a vault and grab as much loot as you can before the police arrive—to a spooky vampire’s lair, where you’ll uncover the secrets of an illicit love affair and help a vampire reclaim his coffin.
CATCH A POOLSIDE CONCERT HERE – SoundSplash!, a night time poolside concert series, brings surf/pop/reggae band Bikini Trill—on tour this summer with 311 and the Dirty Heads—to Hotel Zoso in Palm Springs on June 21st for a night of music, swimming and good vibes for a great cause. Book a private poolside cabana for the ultimate VIP experience, with proceeds helping provide music equipment and lessons for special needs children.
SPY NOCTURNAL CREATURES HERE – Discover the desert after dark with Monument Night Adventure, a guided walk along the Art Smith Trail in Palm Desert. The free, family-friendly event, hosted by Friends of the Desert Mountains, begins at 9:15 PM on June 29th and will give participants an opportunity to witness the desert’s elusive nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat.
