Old Town Scottsdale Shines with New Modern Residences

by | May 15, 2019

Over the past few years, the dynamic desert enclave of Old Town Scottsdale has emerged as a global luxury destination in its own right. A host of innovative art galleries from Los Angeles and New York, paired with high-end, chef-driven restaurants and new hotel-branded luxury residences, are bringing a decidedly polished sheen to Scottsdale’s beloved historic district.

Among the neighborhood’s most anticipated new developments is a collection of two Modern Terrace homes conceived by CP Drewett, AIA (the esteemed architect behind the enclave of residences at the nearby Ritz-Carlton project) in collaboration with Rich Brock of BedRock Developers and MARA Interior Design. Represented by The Agency’s Raul Siqueiros and Jack Luciano, the two urban residences will feature 5,530 square feet of masterfully designed living space, with three levels of bespoke interiors, three master bedrooms, spacious lounges and rooftop decks with breathtaking views for year-round al fresco entertaining. Clean lines, towering walls of glass and elements of wood and stone will lend a textural warmth to the soaring, loft-like living spaces, while an elevator to all floors and three-car garages with direct access elevate the offering.

“These residences represent a new era for Old Town,” says Raul. “Many people still associate Old Town with a club scene, and while there are plenty of happening spots nearby, they’re actually over a mile from the offering. The recent influx in high-end real estate has permeated all aspects of life in the neighborhood, bringing upscale shops and restaurants and renowned, international galleries to cater to the demands of a stylish and affluent crowd.”

6933 E. 1st Street is just a heartbeat from Hotel Valley Ho, the stunningly reimagined midcentury hotel—home to a set of exclusive penthouse residences, also represented by Raul and Jack with Marilyn Cavanaugh and Jim Cavanaugh—along with several hotly anticipated new hotel-branded residences. Moments from home is the ever-popular Cafe Monarch, The House Brasserie, soon-to-be-unveiled Nobu at Scottsdale Fashion Square, and renowned museums and attractions.

“What’s great about these homes is that they offer a true lock-and-leave lifestyle—which is particularly appealing to second and third homeowners who have their sights set on a highly walkable, increasingly cosmopolitan area. Jack and I cannot wait to debut these extraordinary residences in February and find the perfect buyers to call them home.”

The Agency recently celebrated the launch of the residences with a grand soiree. Check out images of the event below.
