Perched high above the Sunset Strip amidst the picturesque Bird Streets, 1895 Rising Glen proved to be the perfect setting for a summertime, sunset fête. On a balmy night in June, guests gathered to toast the West Hollywood Hills property, taking in its stunning hill-framed views—which capture a broad, glittering swath of the Sunset Strip, Palos Verdes and the ocean horizon beyond. As the sun slipped… guests sipped Peroni beers, Codigo 1530’s rose blanco tequila, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and sparkling rosé (a crowd favorite) from Malibu Rocky Oaks, alongside small bites from DCLA

Represented by David Parnes and James Harris and designed by world-renowned Make Architecture, the 9,400-square foot estate is a contemporary architectural masterpiece, offering privacy and tranquility just minutes from the bars, shops and restaurants of the Sunset Strip.

During the evening event, guests mingled indoors and out, strolling past hundreds of white Vogue Candles as they explored the estate’s palatial 2,000-square-foot master suite with wraparound balcony, open-plan living room (complete with 12-foot, remote-controlled, floor-to-ceiling windows), glass-enclosed wine room and cozy home theater before settling onto deck lounges to listen to mellow beats from DJ DevvLov. Exceptionally designed for entertaining, 1895 Rising Glen’s spacious outdoor dining areas are shaded by mature palms and equipped with gas fire pits. From the deck, guests noshed on freshly-toasted, 24-karat gold leafed marshmallows from chef Chris Ford of Butterlove and Hardwork and admired the 40-foot-long infinity pool and the view below as the stars and city lights began to glow.
