The Agency Agenda Park City: What to Do + Where to Go this September

by | Aug 29, 2019

Our picks of places to go and things to do to make the most of your month in and around Park City.

LOOK UP HERE – This is an unforgettable late summer spectacle without compare. Over the weekend of September 14 and 15, Autumn Aloft gathers from 8-10am in the North 40 Fields and launches dozens of hot air balloons into the Park City sky. Spectators can drink coffee, play games and take in the show. On Saturday evening, the hot air balloon baskets line Main Street and light up the street.

FEEL PEACHY HERE – Get your fruit fix at Brigham City Peach Days, where you can indulge in peach pies, fresh jam and much more. Stick around for the Peach Queen Beauty Pageant and cheer as the peach parade rolls through Brigham City’s streets.

GET YOUR FAIR FIX HERE –  Rides, animals, games and (of course) fried foods abound at the Utah State Fair in Salt Lake City, which runs September 5-15. Take a ride on the Big Yellow Slide, pet some baby farm animals and sit in on some cool cooking demonstrations at the Zion Building before stepping into the Big Top Circus Spectacular to catch some unforgettable acrobatic feats.

LIGHTEN UP HERE – The Salt Lake City Sky Lantern Festival draws thousands of spectators to the Utah Motorsports Park, where traditional lanterns are lit and sent into the sky at dusk. The pictures will be great, but the experience in real life will move you. The festival starts Saturday, September 21 at 4:30pm and ends at 10:30pm, and tickets range from $15-$65.
