Where to Say “I Do” in Orange County

by | Aug 21, 2019

A memorable day calls for an epic venue, and these five spots in and around Orange County promise to provide truly unforgettable settings. Whether you and your partner are drawn to ocean views, scenic vineyards or want to add your own style to a blank canvas, these Orange County venues has something for every couple.

SEVEN 7 SEVEN – Set in the lively Laguna Arts District—home to dozens of galleries and studios—Seven 7 Seven is an indoor-outdoor space that can be adapted to deliver a range of wedding aesthetics, from classically elegant to relaxed and contemporary. For the ceremony opt for the lush courtyard bursting with greenery and an atmospheric waterfall. Receptions can take place nearby under a beautifully lit tent.

THE WATERFRONT BEACH RESORT – Beautifully positioned in Huntington, nearly every spot at the recently expanded Waterfront Beach Resort provides a striking view. The resort’s new ocean-view Vista Lawns are ideal for a seaside ceremony. If you prefer the great indoors, choose one of the three new ballrooms, each of which boasts elegant vaulted ceilings. And no need to search for after party spots either— the new after-hours rooftop bar Offshore 9 offers awesome ocean views.

AVENTURA OCEAN CLUB – This recently remodeled waterfront spot is located in Dana Point Harbor and boasts a modern, elegant dining room that can host up to 150. Boasting wood floors and wall-to-wall windows overlooking the harbor, this is a bright, chic setting fit for an elegant reception. Outside, a patio lounge offers a scenic space for a more intimate reception for up to 100 guests, plus, its formal canopy-covered deck provides a picture perfect backdrop for outdoor ceremonies.

PONTE WINERY – This majestic Temecula winery sits on 300 acres of vineyards and offers four scenic spaces to tie the knot. For an outdoor ceremony, go for the Vineyard Garden, which features a lush lawn with vineyard and mountain views. For a more private affair, book the Reserve Room, an indoor space that also stores large oak barrels of wine. If you’ve got a big party planned, reserve the windery’s largest space, the Vineyard Pavilion—it comes with a dance floor, lighting, and entertainment equipment.

THE VINTAGE ROSE – A cute boutique venue in Orange with an award-winning reputation, the Vintage Rose is on the smaller side, ideal for parties up to about 150 guests. But make no mistake, it offers tons of charm—think Victorian-style tin ceilings and photogenic wood paneled walls—but still provides a great blank canvas to imbue with you and your partner’s unique style. Plus, its all-inclusive event packages will make planning the big day a breeze.
