End of Summer Adventures in Pasadena

by | Sep 4, 2019

Summer is winding down, but there’s still time to savor the season. From food tasting tours to weekend wine tastings, here are three of our favorite end-of-summer adventures in Pasadena.

STREET FOOD CINEMA – On Saturday, September 21, head to Victory Park for Street Food Cinema, a fun, open-air event with an ever-changing lineup of local eats, music and movies. This is a picnic-friendly affair, so bring along some blankets—they’ll come in handy when the sun sets and the film kicks on. Tickets are $9-$15.

OLD PASADENA FOOD TASTING TOUR – Sneak in a little summertime learning with Melting Pot Food Tours, which guide guests through the history, architecture, and folklore of Old Pasadena. Discover colorful alleys and secret passageways as you stop into some of the city’s most amazing eateries. Tours last about 3.5 hours, are offered Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am to 2pm, and require about 1.25 miles of walking. Tickets are $65 for kids and $79 for adults.

UNCORKED AT LANGHAM – Escape to Napa Valley every Saturday at the Langham’s Horseshoe Garden from June through October. On Saturdays in September, from 2-6pm, Ferrari-Carano Vineyards & Winery will share knowledge on featured varietals and walk you through the nuances of every glass, flight, or bottle. Snack on boxed bites of cheeses, charcuterie, fruit and sweets from the Langham culinary team. Pricing begins at $12 per glass and $15 per flight.
