Traditional beauty met cutting-edge design at a recent evening event at 837 Greenway Drive in Beverly Hills. The extraordinary, European-style estate—represented by Mauricio Umansky and Jon Grauman—is ideally situated on nearly a half-acre of lushly landscaped flat land and served as a grand setting for the unveiling of Pininfarina’s Battista Hypercar, the Italian marque’s first ever luxury all-electric vehicle.

As guests arrived through the home’s iron gates, they were greeted by manicured shrubbery, imported olive trees and the vehicle of the hour, parked on the home’s wraparound motor court and cloaked in a silken sheet.

Guests sipped flutes of Moët Hennessy Champagne, enjoyed appetizers from DCLA around the home’s pool, and mingled inside the elegant marble entry, which is crowned by a striking, sculptural staircase and leads to a bright living room with wide-plank hardwood floor. A voluminous gallery hallway off the entry flows to a formal dining room with a glass-enclosed, temperature-controlled wine room, billiards room with a fireplace, plush theatre, auto gallery, and ensuite guest room.

Around sunset, the sheet was removed to reveal a charcoal-hued Battista with tan and black leather interiors and metal accents. While no test drives took place, guests got an exclusive, up-close look at the all-new design and the chance to picture themselves behind the wheel.

Just a heartbeat from the renowned shops and restaurants of Beverly Hills, this unprecedented home offers an elevated take on California living in one of the country’s most prestigious zip codes.
