We’ve got lots to be grateful for this season, including some high-profile coverage for our properties and personalities in top publications and news networks, from the Wall Street Journal to Forbes and CNBC. Here’s a fresh serving of some of the month’s most delectable media bites.
1300 BEVERLY ESTATES DRIVE - Maxim highlighted this jaw-dropping “Allosaurus-centered mansion,” touching on its many other incredible elements, from the plush 12-seat home theater to the 600-bottle wine cellar. Represented by Blair Chang and Stefan Pommepuy, the 12,500-square-foot Beverly Hills estate is offered at $37,950,000.
JACK LUCIANO, RAUL SIQUEIROS, MICHELLE SCHWARTZ - Forbes sought out the expert opinion of The Agency's Jack Luciano, Raul Siqueiros and Michelle Schwartz for its report on the rising popularity of virtual staging services among realtors. “Our goal with virtual staging was to give buyers the idea of how they can live there," Luciano told the publication and notes that the tactic works especially well with vacant condos. “Virtual staging brings buyers in who might not have come to look at the property if all they saw in the listing photos were empty rooms."
GRIFFIN RIDDLE - L.A.-based agent Griffin Riddle was profiled in Forbes as one of the nation’s six “Millennial Power Brokers.” “I learned very early on that it doesn’t matter how long you have been doing something, what matters is the amount of value you can deliver,” Griffin tells the publication. “Creating a brand takes time, but when you are getting your name and face out there in multiple ways it leads to more business over time. I am still growing and creating my brand, but I feel very proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish so far in one of the most competitive cities in the U.S.”
8408 HILLSIDE AVENUE - This Hollywood Hills home—the largest in the area—made the cut for CNBC’s piece on “9 Over-the-Top Closets.” Represented by James Harris and David Parnes, the glass-walled walk-in is part of the 2,800-square-foot master suite. “This huge closet [was] imported from Lake Como in Italy,” David told CNBC. “Even your clothes have a crazy view!”
DAN WIESER - In an article titled “Some Homes Are Residential Boomerangs,” The Wall Street Journal interviewed L.A.-based estates division director Dan Weiser on the topic of homes that are resold a number of times within a few years and the circumstances that surround those transactions. “I sold the same four-bedroom, ranch-style house three times in less than five years. It’s in Cheviot Hills,” Dan told WSJ, and went on to outline the successes and challenges he encountered in each sale.
ANGEL SALVADOR - Mansion Global reported that The Agency’s Angel Salvador represented Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Abel Tesfaye (AKA The Weeknd) in the purchase of a $21 million four-bedroom penthouse in new boutique development Beverly West, a 22-story tower with 35 units located near the Los Angeles Country Club. The penthouse boasts a chef’s kitchen, a full fitness studio and floor to ceiling windows with incredible views.
PUERTA CORTES - Cosmo named this resort one of its “15 Best Couples Retreat Locations,” touting the resort’s long list of activities, including golf, snorkeling and swimming with whale sharks as well as “romantic lunch on a super secluded beach, couples massages and the option to add on cooking lessons, golf and tennis lessons, yoga on the beach, and mezcal tasting.” The resort is located minutes from La Paz, the capital city of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur.
JAMES HARRIS AND DAVID PARNES - The Agency’s dynamic real estate team and stars of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles collaborated for an opinion piece in real estate industry publication Inman titled “How to Create a Streamlined, Effective Communications Strategy for Your Team.” In the piece, James and David call out three key elements and expound on how they address each within their team. “We prefer to keep our team small,” the duo writes. “(We) have learned that when we have a high level of quality control, our staff can ensure that all clients are receiving a professional and personalized experience.”
MAURICIO UMANSKY - BravoTV spotlighted Kyle Richards’ recent Instagram Story, which gave followers a peek inside The Agency Palm Springs' office in Palm Desert. First opened in 2017, the office “includes stunning floor-to-ceiling glass offices and a white conference room accented by pops of red,” BravoTV notes.
