On a recent late-summer evening, guests and agents gathered in Dana Point to toast the unveiling of The Wavecrest Collection at Beach Road and its two new beachfront homes.

The two side-by-side estates, Montauk (35341 Beach Road) and Zuma (35345 Beach Road), were built by the family-run Mur-Sol builders, developed by architect Jack Garland and designed by Barclay Butera. Montauk’s traditional Cape Cod-inspired aesthetic—spread over 3,705 square feet—is a fascinating contrast to the 3,761-square-foot Zuma estate’s more contemporary California design. Both homes boast fine decorative details, 96-bottle wine rooms and oceanfront decks that look out onto the picturesque Capistrano Beach. Each showcase the best features of coastal living, from their

Backed by a team of devoted animal-lovers, one of The Agency’s own hosted a happy hour fundraiser and donation drive to support local Scottsdale shelter, Foothills Animal Rescue. Founded in 1995, the shelter works to find foster and permanent homes for abandoned and surrendered cats and dogs.

“I am so inspired by the work of Foothills Animal Rescue,” says Yvonne Matejka, who spearheaded the event. “I know how much love animals bring to people’s lives—adopting my dog, Disko, was such a special moment in my life. The dogs and cats at Foothills Animal Rescue need our support, and I wanted to harness the power of our team and our local network of friends, clients and family to bring attention to this great organization.”

This month, our dynamic team of agents made remarkable real estate moves around the globe, from listing a record-sized home in Hollywood Hills to an epic NYC townhouse. Here are some of the month’s must-read media clips.

MAURICIO UMANSKY - The Agency’s Co-Founder and CEO sat down with Haute Residence to discuss all things real estate and The Agency. “There’s so much I love about The Agency,” Mauricio tells the publication. “First and foremost, our company culture is unmatched. We’ve been given the unique opportunity to represent some of the most incredible properties throughout the U.S. and the world. At the end of the day, our people are our greatest accomplishment, and the family we’ve created is what I’m most proud of.”

The Agency joined forces with Giveback Homes in Park City, Utah and Culver City, California to help construct residences for two families in need. Giveback Homes is an organization comprised of real estate professionals who help fund and build homes for families and individuals around the globe, from Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago and Houston to villages in Nicaragua. Since its founding in 2013, the organization has mobilized teams of volunteer homebuilders and spearheaded fundraising events to support the construction of permanent housing for those in need.

In Park City, Utah, local agents and CEO and Founder Mauricio Umansky grabbed saws, nails and hammers and helped raise the framework for an all-new home for a mother of two. The home is one of

The Agency marked its incredible success and growth over the past eight years by hosting its inaugural Global Forum. The two-day conference brought together hundreds of agents from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, as well as leading industry specialists and paradigm-shifting innovators at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood. The conference gave agents an opportunity to learn and network, and brought together some of the best and brightest minds in real estate today.

Day two kicked off with a 30-minute meditation session led by mindfulness coach, Sherly Sulaiman, who got attendees mentally prepped for the busy day ahead as they sipped kombucha from Health-Ade.

New offices, top honors and record-breaking sales—The Agency had a lot to celebrate at its eighth anniversary party. Agents, staff, family and friends gathered for a late summer fête filled with cool drinks and (of course) plenty of delicious food.

To kick things off, Managing Partner Santiago Arana and Founding Partner Blair Chang welcomed guests with spirited remarks before Co-Founders Billy Rose and Mauricio Umansky addressed the guests with congratulatory toasts.

“When I looked out onto the crowd, it was such a beautiful site to see. There were so many people who have been with us from the beginning alongside many new Agency members,” noted Billy. “I am grateful for each and every one of our Agency family members who keep our spirit and

On a warm L.A. evening earlier this month, team members from across The Agency’s departments—including graphic designers and account managers from The Agency Development Group and The Agency Creates—took to Pan Pacific Park’s kickball field for a fast-paced game with numerous nail-biting catches, outs and hard-won home runs.

Led by team captains Mauricio Umansky and Billy Rose, the red and white teams took turns kicking, bunting and manning the bases and outfield. The game marked the start of The Agency’s first-ever Forum conference, which took place over two days at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood and was attended by more than 400 agents from around the globe.

“I love seeing our staff come together and embrace their competitive spirit,” said Mauricio. “We

Whether it's mixing and matching clients with the perfect property or creating the best cocktail, our agents know how to deliver.

Mauricio Umansky, Santiago Arana and Sandro Dazzan took a break from the rigorous world of luxury real estate to craft some cocktails at coastal hotspot SHOREbar in Santa Monica. The late summer event benefitted Giveback Homes, an organization that builds housing for families and individuals in need around the U.S. and abroad. Recently, The Agency’s Beverly Hills office helped construct ten homes in Culver City for one of Giveback Homes’ L.A. area Build Days.

“This is such a great way to support an organization we hold in such high regard. And we’ve had such an incredible turn out of supporters!” said Mauricio, who

435 Marguerita Avenue in Santa Monica was the perfect setting for a late summer backyard party, complete with lawn games, cocktails and fresh barbecue. Ideally located moments from Palisades Park, Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade and the shops and restaurants of Montana Avenue, this six-bedroom, nine-bath residence is perfect for families—in fact, its current owners have raised their own on its quiet, palm and oak tree-shaded lot for the past 20 years.

For this casual afternoon event, guests mingled in the private, verdant backyard—which is filled with colorful hydrangea bushes and lush ferns. Attendees sipped cocktails, noshed on barbecue, cold veggie salads, fresh-cut watermelon and cotton candy twirled on-site. Everyone was invited to
