The Agency’s team of more than 600 agents across offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean are working diligently and safely to serve their clients, colleagues and communities. Here’s a rundown of regional happenings from The Agency’s global team. 

Arizona – Adrian Heyman is making real estate a family affair, having his teenage daughters film and edit a twilight walkthrough of his new listing, 8620 N. Avenida Del Sol, a stunning modern country residence in Paradise Valley. He says his “assistants” did a fantastic job and that it was great to have their help during this time. Tanner Riordan brought a new listing of his own to market, 6924 E. Blue Sky Drive, a contemporary style home situated on 1.3 privacy acres in Scottsdale’s Saguaro Estates.

To support local businesses and brighten two winners’ day, Luis Gonzalez recently held a giveaway on Instagram, offering gift cards to local restaurants of the winners’ choosing. The Agency’s own Lenna Bien and her husband have owned a small business selling handmade soaps since 2015. They’ve now shifted to making masks and hand sanitizers, which are available for sale here

Aspen – The Agency Aspen has taken to Instagram to support local businesses, promote their favorite restaurants, spread joy with stunning mountain photography and provide a glimpse of the Colorado cowboy life, starring a horse named Shadow. Follow @TheAgencyAspen.

British Columbia –
The Agency Victoria’s Bowman Rutledge, Andy Rogers and Rosalie Bateman are bringing a new, Danish-inspired listing to market at 1319 Champions Court in Langford. Offered at $2,695,000, the home is situated on Bear Mountain and features inspired modern design.    

Greater Los Angeles – Mauricio Umansky will be part of Inman Connect‘s very first virtual Connect coming June 2-4, 2020. The live digital event, Inman Connect Now, will feature leaders from across the industry, including Mauricio, as panelists during the event that will bring together the real estate community in new and innovative ways. Cody Thompson, from the office of Jon Grauman, is married to an ER nurse on the frontlines of the battle against Covid-19. Cody recently started a GoFundMe page to provide a much-needed morale boost to first responders. The page raises funds to provide meals, coffee and treats to overwhelmed nurses, doctors and their staff. Visit his LA Medical Providers Morale Fund to learn more. 

Monique Navarro is working with Mauricio, Billy Rose, Santiago Arana and Jon Grauman to start The Agency Angel Fund to help colleagues at The Agency and those in need during times of crisis. When she’s not out selling real estate, Monique has an event and floral business that provides services for charity events, fundraisers, weddings and more. During the pandemic, she has been coordinating meals and having groceries delivered to those in need. More details to come in the coming months.

Michael Perez has been driving across Los Angeles county delivering and donating medical masks to those in need. Over 4,000 masks have been donated throughout the community to doctor’s offices, hospitals, places of worship and retirement homes, including The Village at Sherman Oaks.

Mexico – The home of The Agency La Paz office, Puerta Cortés is hosting a weekly concert series that homeowners can enjoy safely from their balconies. A recent Flamenco concert was broadcast on the community’s Instagram, @PuertaCortesResort, so residents could enjoy from wherever they are in the world.

The Agency Puerto Vallarta and Punta de Mita recently welcomed California agent Randy Powers, who brings 20 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate to the team. He recently sold a gorgeous ocean-view, 2.4-acre parcel of land above Playa Patzcuaro, one of Sayulita’s most beautiful beaches. In addition to his real estate business, Randy and his wife own Terrenal Sayulita, the region’s only all-organic grocery store, which is currently providing regular food delivery and distributing face masks and hand sanitizers throughout the region. 

Northern California – The Agency Alamo’s Jared Higgins and his family have been collecting food donations for Contra Costa and Solano counties, offering clients and contacts pick-up service from their homes and placing a drop-off bin at his own front door. “As a family, we wanted to do something to give back after seeing on the news the need for food and cars to bring supplies to food banks in the area.” You can get involved and follow his efforts on his Instagram: @JaredHiggins10

Ontario – Steve Bailey and Isabel Pinheiro of The Agency Kitchener, Waterloo Region, have listed the sustainably built 912 Harvest Court in the Deer Ridge neighborhood. The Energy Star-certified home boasts high-efficiency mechanicals, triple-paned windows, air/weather barrier and LED lighting among its enviable features, which include an Arriscraft stone exterior and irrigation system with WIFI weather check. 

Orange County – Ann Metzger teamed up with a local SoCal fabric factory to embroider The Agency logo on face masks for agents and their clients—a move that turned into a much wider initiative. “I needed masks for myself and my clients, and during my research, I found a woman who runs a sewing factory in Downtown Los Angeles,” Ann says. “I told her what I wanted and her response was, ‘Good, that will keep my women working.’” Soon, more women were getting involved, and it organically became a philanthropically inspired movement called, “Keep Women Working Initiative.” The business, Get Masked, is growing by the day, with a percentage of proceeds going to the KWWI. Palm Springs – Palm Springs and Palm Desert boast some of the finest golf properties in the country. Mansion Global recently published an article about the nation’s top golf course communities, connecting with our very own avid golfer Mauricio Umansky, who said hard-core golfers seek “well-manicured landscaping and the quality of the grass both on the fairways and greens.” Our team in the desert has plenty of options for the avid golfer. PasadenaSam Plouchart of The Agency Pasadena recently put the Tarzana home of NBA star and Houston Rockets guard, Ben McLemore, on the market. 5201 Veloz Avenue was recently featured as a Hot Property in the Los Angeles Times, which highlighted the home’s East Coast-inspired design and luxury amenities, including a movie theater, office, swimming pool and playground. 

Lisa Ashworth recently listed 515 W. California Blvd, a Craftsman-style residence located in the city’s lovely Lower Arroyo Landmark District.
