NYC Fall Events Guide: November 2019

November in NYC can be a busy time. We are reaching the peak of food, drink, and film festivals and the beginning of the holiday season is just around the corner, too.

The New York City Marathon and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade are November classics, but Triplemint’s NYC real estate agents wanted to put together an NYC November events calendar to highlight some other amazing events happening around the city.

New York Comedy Festival – All Boroughs


This festival brings the world’s best comedians to the city for a week of stand-up, sketch shows, panels, and more. Hundreds of famous and up-and-coming comedians will be performing in venues across the five boroughs, bringing laughs to you no matter where you live in the city. Imagine This Women’s International Film Festival – Brooklyn

The Image This Women’s International Film Festival is a multi-day festival of film screenings, screenplay readings, workshops, and panels showcasing independent original works by women filmmakers. Come prepared to be inspired and informed by bold creative filmmakers and industry professionals.

Renegade Craft Fair – Chelsea


Treat yourself or a loved one to a handcrafted gift from one of the 230 makers at this cozy indoor craft fair. Over 230 artists will be in attendance along with foodmakers, baristas, and workshop hosts. The event will take place over two days, so you can relax and take your time exploring the booths and meeting local and regional artists.

Brooklyn Crush – Sunset Park

Sample wine and food from Brooklyn and beyond at this one-day festival. Winemakers from around the world will be featured alongside New York State crafters. Salon Art + Design – Upper East Side

Salon Du Chocolat – Hudson Yards


Indulge your sweet tooth and immerse yourself in a world of chocolate at this spectacular, larger-than-life celebration. Salon Du Chocolat is the world’s largest chocolate event, and is an unmissable occasion for any chocolate lover.

The 24 Hour Plays – Midtown Manhattan

For one night only, teams of actors, directors, and writers come together to put on six original plays all created and rehearsed in just 24 hours. Now in its 19th year, this year’s event is in honor of Academy Award winning actress Kathy Bates, and in support of the Lymphatic Education & Research Network. Past participants include Elizabeth Banks, Sam Rockwell, Vanessa Williams, and Laverne Cox.

Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Gardens – The Bronx


See New York as you’ve never seen it before at this beautifully crafted miniature version of the city. More than 175 iconic landmarks dot the display made of natural materials like bark and leaves. Adults can enjoy special “Bar Cart” nights with seasonal drinks and cozy fire pits.
