Ringing in The New Year On a High Note: Catching Up with Our Agents Around The Globe

The holiday season brought much to cheer for our agents, as they spent December hard at work serving their clients and communities and spreading a little joy. In our monthly agent round-up, we check in with The Agency team around the globe.


South Florida

Mary Yasol achieved several notable career highlights in both residential and commercial real estate in 2020. She sold Penthouse 6307 at the Marquis in Biscayne Bay for $1.7M with multiple offers, five months after taking the listing over from another agent. She also represented the buyer in the second-highest, price-per-square-foot sale in Pinecrest, successfully leased two commercial buildings in Fort Lauderdale, leased half of a 10,000-square-foot commercial building in Miami and placed a total of nine commercial tenants, including restaurants and galleries.

Angela Corrente serves as director of the board for the Hollywood Beach Civic Association, which meets monthly to tackle environmental and other issues in the area. Efforts include implementing beach nourishment programs, turtle-friendly lighting practices, beautification projects, educational programming and more. As someone who lives and works in Hollywood Beach, Angela says her role provides valuable insight on the growth of the city and its effects on wildlife and the beach community.


Turks & Caicos

Arizona

The Arizona team was treated to a fun and tasty surprise this holiday season with s’mores kits delivered right to their doors. The team toasted their marshmallows and raised their glasses to a successful 2020 after doubling their sales volume in the $1M+ market year over year.


Aspen

The Agency Aspen announced its partnership with the Aspen-based, boutique home builder Peak3, debuting four exceptional new residences as demand for Colorado mountain life soars. Heather Sinclair, Managing Partner of The Agency Aspen, spearheaded the partnership at a time when new inventory is scarce. This is the first partnership Peak3 has forged with a real estate firm, noting as a boutique, niche company they were anticipating the most mutually beneficial fit. British Columbia

The Los Cabos team hosted a Toy Drive this holiday season to benefit The Centro de Terapias de Red Autismo A.C., an organization that supports children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or neurodevelopmental disorder. The Agency Orange County welcomed a new member to the team, Monika Matson, who brings a love of real estate, wealth of knowledge on the local market and niche expertise on San Clemente, her hometown since the age of 18. Monika thrives on getting to know her clients and custom tailoring her approach for their unique needs and budget. When not touring real estate, she can be found enjoying the beach, traveling, surfing and spending time with her family.


Pasadena

Ontario

In an Agency double-ender, Peter Torkan and Hooman Aliary represented both the buyer and seller of 112 Harbord Street, a townhouse development offered at CA$3,000,000. Now under contract, the site is located in Downtown Toronto, close to shopping, dining and entertainment. Interestingly, the seller was a real estate broker who attempted to sell the property, before turning to The Agency for its A-Team expertise. Explore the offering in the video below.
