Our dynamic team of agents made remarkable real estate moves around the country this month, from listing an all-new home in Beverly Hills with a prehistoric piece of art to a pair of exceptional estates in Santa Barbara. Here are some of the month’s must-read media clips.

BRAVOTV - Mauricio Umansky, Farrah Brittany, James Harris and David Parnes were spotlighted on BravoTV.com for their appearance on The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of “Top 30 Real Estate Agents in Hollywood.” James and David were lauded for the $120 million sale of L.A.’s most expensive home, Mauricio’s team of agents (known as The Umansky Team) was touted for bringing in $278 million in sales and Farrah was named one the L.A. real estate industry’s most promising

It isn’t often that a property with such staggering views comes to market in the coveted Hollywood Hills. 1622 Viewmont Drive is perfectly positioned to capture L.A.’s most impressive panoramas. Set on an acre of hilltop land, this Hollywood Regency style home is from the imaginative mind of celebrity architect Michael Mueller, who studied under the iconic Frank Gehry. The peaceful enclave frames sweeping vistas spanning from the Downtown L.A. skyline to the Pacific Ocean and north to the Santa Monica Mountains.

“This home is a true architectural masterpiece. Michael Mueller designed it to not just frame the incredible views and exterior landscaping, but to make them an integral part of the interior living experience,” says Farrah Brittany, who

We’re seeing stars. In yet another high point for The Agency’s team, The Hollywood Reporter has named several of our own to its annual list of Top 30 Real Estate Agents in Hollywood.

Santiago Arana, Sandro Dazzan, David Parnes and James Harris and The Umansky Team (Mauricio Umansky, Farrah Brittany and Eduardo Umansky) have all been selected for their outstanding achievements over the last year.

The Umansky Team, David and James, and Santiago were all spotlighted in the magazine’s “$250 Million Club,” which consists of just eight local agents and teams who sold more than a quarter-of-a-billion dollar's worth of real estate in 2018.

Mauricio's team topped $278 million in sales in 2018 with notable transactions including Bel Air’s 822

The Agency joined forces with Giveback Homes in Park City, Utah and Culver City, California to help construct residences for two families in need. Giveback Homes is an organization comprised of real estate professionals who help fund and build homes for families and individuals around the globe, from Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago and Houston to villages in Nicaragua. Since its founding in 2013, the organization has mobilized teams of volunteer homebuilders and spearheaded fundraising events to support the construction of permanent housing for those in need.

In Park City, Utah, local agents and CEO and Founder Mauricio Umansky grabbed saws, nails and hammers and helped raise the framework for an all-new home for a mother of two. The home is one of

The Agency marked its incredible success and growth over the past eight years by hosting its inaugural Global Forum. The two-day conference brought together hundreds of agents from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, as well as leading industry specialists and paradigm-shifting innovators at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood. The conference gave agents an opportunity to learn and network, and brought together some of the best and brightest minds in real estate today.

Day two kicked off with a 30-minute meditation session led by mindfulness coach, Sherly Sulaiman, who got attendees mentally prepped for the busy day ahead as they sipped kombucha from Health-Ade.

The Agency’s Co-Founders, CEO Mauricio Umansky and President Billy Rose, gave

New offices, top honors and record-breaking sales—The Agency had a lot to celebrate at its eighth anniversary party. Agents, staff, family and friends gathered for a late summer fête filled with cool drinks and (of course) plenty of delicious food.

To kick things off, Managing Partner Santiago Arana and Founding Partner Blair Chang welcomed guests with spirited remarks before Co-Founders Billy Rose and Mauricio Umansky addressed the guests with congratulatory toasts.

“When I looked out onto the crowd, it was such a beautiful site to see. There were so many people who have been with us from the beginning alongside many new Agency members,” noted Billy. “I am grateful for each and every one of our Agency family members who keep our spirit and

Whether it's mixing and matching clients with the perfect property or creating the best cocktail, our agents know how to deliver.

Mauricio Umansky, Santiago Arana and Sandro Dazzan took a break from the rigorous world of luxury real estate to craft some cocktails at coastal hotspot SHOREbar in Santa Monica. The late summer event benefitted Giveback Homes, an organization that builds housing for families and individuals in need around the U.S. and abroad. Recently, The Agency’s Beverly Hills office helped construct ten homes in Culver City for one of Giveback Homes’ L.A. area Build Days.

“This is such a great way to support an organization we hold in such high regard. And we’ve had such an incredible turn out of supporters!” said Mauricio, who

In its third annual installment of “Who’s Brokering L.A.,” the Los Angeles Business Journal has honored several outstanding professionals from The Agency’s team for their positive impact on the city’s residential real estate community and local economy. According to LABJ, this list is comprised of “brokers who have the knowledge, skills and dedication to go the extra mile for their clients.” This year, LABJ has recognized The Agency’s Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky, Co-Founder and President Billy Rose, and dynamic agents Santiago Arana, James Harris, David Parnes, Jon Grauman and Michelle Schwartz.

“I think I speak for all of us when I say that this is a fantastic honor,” says Mauricio. “We all work as a team, but I am personally thrilled to see

We’re proud to announce that for the fourth year in a row, The Agency has ranked on Inc. 5000 ’s list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America. In another point of pride, The Agency also made a significant jump in rank this year, from #3,947 in 2018 to #3,174.

The Inc. 5000 ranks each company based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year time span. The Agency has experienced a 115% growth increase. Out of the nation’s nearly seven million private companies, only a small fraction have demonstrated such remarkably high, consistent growth.

“We are so pleased to be a part of the Inc. 5000 ’s list once again, it’s incredible to see how we’ve progressed as a company just over the last year,” says Billy Rose, Co-Founder of The Agency.

After much anticipation, the curtain was finally lifted last week on interior designer Windsor Smith’s new home, 227 N. Tigertail in Brentwood during a star-studded event. VIP guests mingled with Hollywood A-listers including Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery, Djimon Hounsou, Francesca Eastwood, among others.

Windsor is known for her modern-meets-classical point of view and strong celebrity following—Gwyneth Paltrow is a prominent fan and purchased Windsor’s first home in Mandeville Canyon in the early 2000s. Windsor joked to The Wall Street Journal that Gwyneth had been to the newly completed Brentwood property many times, but having purchased two of her homes already she “isn’t allowed to buy it."
