With a focus on the niche markets of Beverly Hills, Westwood and Brentwood, Nathan brings a wealth of knowledge in real estate litigation and tax law but says he is most excited about guiding his clients through their search for the perfect home.   “Having grown up in a family of real estate developers, it was a natural progression for me to step out of the legal profession and focus primarily on real estate, my true passion,” Nathan says. “I get to meet amazing people, hear their stories and help guide them through the next step of their lives. At the same time, I get to be immersed in L.A.’s fantastic, modern…

The Agency is honored to be recognized once again by The Hollywood Reporter with five of our agents among this year’s list of “Hollywood’s Top 25 Real Estate Agents”. The annual ranking is made up of top-producing agents selected based on “their client rosters and killer deals”.

Making the list for the third year in a row are The Agency’s co-founders, CEO Mauricio Umansky and President Billy Rose, as well as Principal and Managing Partner of The Agency's Brentwood office, Santiago Arana. Also gracing the Top 25 is the powerhouse team of James Harris and David Parnes of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” fame.

Below is what The Hollywood Reporter had to say about our agents in the top 25:

The Agency is pleased to announce that Mireya Rodriguez, a Westside luxury market expert and lifestyle enthusiast, is joining our growing team. Headquartered in The Agency’s Brentwood office, Mireya specializes in high-end real estate in the Brentwood, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Venice and Malibu markets, with a particular love for Santa Monica, which she calls home.

“When you’re selling real estate, you’re selling a lifestyle and want to sell something you truly believe in,” Mireya says. “I live and breathe Santa Monica. It’s a place to de-stress, relax and enjoy the health conscious lifestyle and the outdoors. I can help my clients understand why there is so much value in a property here from both a real estate and a lifestyle perspective.”

The Wall Street Journal released their 2015 Top 1,000 Real Estate Professionals, and The Agency is thrilled to announce that 20 of its agents ranked among the best of the best in the U.S. in several categories. Although the youngest and the smallest of the brokerages with more than one agent on the list, The Agency led all LA County brokerages with a staggering 13 agents represented on the Journal’s Top 250 Individuals by Sales Volume.

CEO and Co-Founder Mauricio Umansky was named the Number 3 agent in the U.S. and Number 1 in California with a total sales volume of $604,339,372, nearly double the volume that earned him the 6th spot in last year’s national ranking.

“I’m extremely proud of Mauricio’s individual achievement,” exclaims President

Santiago Arana, Partner at The Agency, was a special guest of Steve Shull at a recent Performance Coaching Workshop, where he was interviewed regarding his strategy and success in his career. The Performance Coaching Workshop exists to provide complimentary professional development to assist individuals in achieving top results within their field of expertise.

Santiago has achieved much success since he began his professional career in real estate. He came to the United States just over ten years ago and without mastery of the English language or a community, he channeled a strong work ethic and a vision for his life, eventually becoming one of the top agents in the country. In the workshop, Santiago discussed how important it is to continue

To design The Agency’s new Brentwood office, Billy Rose and Santiago Arana teamed with the in-house space planning department and construction department at Douglas Emmett Inc, one of the largest owners/operators of Class-A office properties in Los Angeles.

The inspiration for the design was The Agency’s company culture, which emphasizes partnership, collaboration and creativity. Our agents meet often, share ideas and believe that "no one is as smart as all of us." For this reason, while it was important for agents to have private spaces to conduct focused work and meet quietly with clients, it was also necessary for there to be ample space for collaborative sessions and chance collisions throughout the day.

Gone are the days of static, dry techniques. When it comes to marketing luxury real estate, compelling photography and moving images are setting the bar sky-high (literally).

Leading the way are individuals like The Agency's Santiago Arana who, for a current ultramodern listing, sought out a special photographer to capture underwater angles. "We're always looking for that extra thing to differentiate the property and to showcase its features," he told Variety Magazine.

The article, Drone's Lift L.A.'s Luxury Real Estate Market for Showbiz Celebs and Execs, explores how high-tech and digitally enhanced tools, mainly drones, are re-inventing today's luxury home selling-and-buying trade. Artistically produced shorts help companies market not just, say,

The Agency is proud to, once again, be selected for Variety Magazine’s “Showbiz Real Estate Elite”, with five members of the team among 2015’s list of top-producing talent in the industry. Every year, Variety spotlights the leading agents “who help stars, celebs, directors, producers and assorted showbiz execs sell their holdings and find the home of their dreams.”

Featured this year are Agency Founders Mauricio Umansky and Billy Rose, along with Principal Agent Santiago Arana, and business partners James Harris and David Parnes - who joined The Agency last year and co-starred on season seven of “Million Dollar Listing”.

Variety notes, power trio Mauricio, Billy and Santiago are responsible for some of the most high-profile transactions, handling
