The Agency’s team members came together this month in Naples, Florida for a special Giveback Homes Build Day. On Friday, March 8th, volunteers gathered in Habitat for Humanity’s affordable living development, Whitaker Woods Community, to lend a hand in finalizing townhomes designed to house local families in need.
Volunteers took on a variety of tasks throughout the day, from painting to caulking, trim work to siding installation, and more. Barbara St Fleur of Habitat for Humanity spearheaded the event and ensured smooth coordination among the volunteers.
“During this very busy in-season time for Naples, it was so nice to get so many of our agents to participate,” said Shantel Shimkus, Managing Partner of The Agency Naples. “It felt good to be outside, listening to good music, and knowing we were helping the Habitat for Humanity crew. We all learned a lot about this special organization too, which was a bonus. We will definitely be doing this again for our community. We are all so blessed and it really felt good to know we were helping people in need. Our agents really enjoyed being a part of this fabulous organization!”
