What does a 31-story high-rise condominium off Sunset Boulevard have to offer it’s residents? For starters, protected views of the ocean, mountains and city skyline from glass walls and huge terraces. Standing more than 15 stories higher than any other building within a 2-mile radius, Sierra Towers is the tallest residential property in the area, which is one of the primary reasons why it continues to serve as a magnet for celebrities and other deep-pocketed buyers, states a recent Forbes article.

“This is a building that would never be duplicated again,” says Eric Lavey of high-end brokerage firm The Agency, and who is extremely knowledgeable about the building. “There’s tremendous value and a desire to want to be there because of the exclusivity.”

It was a night of celebration as tastemakers gathered to enjoy an evening of food, drinks and entertainment at the Grand Opening of The Dylan. The Agency joined Essex in welcoming guests to West Hollywood’s most in-demand luxury apartment community, The Dylan, which is located at the corner of Santa Monica and La Brea.

While guests mixed and mingled, every amenity and social space throughout The Dylan was engaged with elements of West Hollywood flair.

As the sun set over the Hollywood Hills, DJ beeFOWL set the tone at The Dylan Pool as a mermaid gracefully swam through water. Cocktails with specialty-paired appetizers were passed while guests admired the live artist that completed a custom painting for The Dylan.Image Four

dinelaheaderDineLA’s Restaurant Week is back! The delectable event is actually two weeks, running July 14–27, and restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus that showcase their specialties, often for much less than you’d normally pay. West Hollywood is one of the most popular neighborhoods in LA when it comes to food, its colorful blocks packed with farm-to-table pop ups, international favorites, and fine gourmet restaurants operated by celebrity chefs. There’s plenty to explore, but here are five spots not far from The Agency that you won’t want to miss.

It was an amazing evening of food, drinks and music in West Hollywood last Saturday as The Agency joined Essex in celebrating the Grand Opening of The Huxley, West Hollywood's newest and most in-demand luxury apartment community.

During the Grand Opening celebration, every amenity and social space throughout the 187-unit community at the corner of La Brea and Fountain engaged the senses with the richness and creativity of West Hollywood.

On The Huxley's Rooftop Park, residents and special guests took in stunning views of the city and Hollywood hills and enjoyed culinary treats and drinks from Petrossian as the sun went down. In The Huxley's screening room, popcorn was served as the acclaimed documentary "Shelter" played, and in The Huxley's teaching

The Agency recently threw an invite-only party for a stunning new architectural at 8455 Oakwood Avenue, and did so in style, pairing with a fixture of the neighborhood – the gourmet French-Mediterranean restaurant, Lucques.

“The streets due east of the Beverly Center have been a hot destination for homebuyers and home-builders in the last two years, and prices are fast on the rise,” says Paul Lester, the listing agent, who works a great deal in the neighborhood. “This area has fast become the new center for nightlife and forward-thinking restaurants and hotels, not unlike a downtown SoHo/Tribeca/NYC vibe.”

Just as the last Spring ‘14 show was wrapping up at New York Fashion Week so, too, was an exclusive night of fashion taking place at Helmut Lang’s Los Angeles flagship store on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. On Thursday, September 12, friends, clients, and employees of The Agency gathered at the brand’s storefront to shop the Fall 2013 Collection and enjoy a special 20% discount off all purchases.
