Extra, extra, read all about it! The Agency has been named a Top Brokerage in 2022 by The Real Deal. Every year, The Real Deal ranks the top 20 brokerage firms within Manhattan and Brooklyn. The Agency made its debut in the Manhattan rankings thanks to its purchase of Triplemint last spring. It finished 11th with $194 million in volume, up slightly from the $189 million Triplemint recorded in 2021.
Brokerages who made it on the list had to close over $194.22M across more than 168 deals in Manhattan and $62.09M over 50 deals in Brooklyn.
The firms that made it on the list were manually vetted through an intensive process that ensured the deals fell within the award criteria. In order to qualify, deals had to be residential only, exceed $100,000 in price, and be recorded in ACRIS anytime throughout 2022. Off market deals were not included in the rankings.
The Agency arrived in NYC just last year and will launch its new east coast headquarters in the city this spring. The firm has strategically expanded throughout the East Coast, as discussed in a recent panel event held at the soon-to-debut New York City offices. The Agency’s growth has flourished over the past year, to date, the brokerage has grown to more than 75 corporately-owned and franchise offices in 10 countries across the globe, making it one of the fastest-growing luxury boutique brokerages in the world.
