Long Island, we love your style! Especially when it comes to your passion for driving positive change in your community. Most recently, agents and staff from The Agency North Shore and The Agency South Shore on Long Island rolled up their sleeves for a recent Build Day with our philanthropic partner, Giveback Homes.
More than a dozen team members gathered in the morning hours of November 9th to put the finishing touches on a home in Long Island’s Huntington neighborhood—just a few minutes from The Agency’s local offices. Volunteers helped with several tasks, from hanging insulation and sheetrock to sprucing up siding and roofing.
“I am so inspired by the work our team put in on this Build Day,” says The Agency North Shore’s Managing Partner Mike Smith. “Our camaraderie in the office translates beautifully to our work on the house—this is a team I am lucky and grateful to lead and learn from,” added Don Mastroianni, fellow Managing Partner of The Agency North Shore.
With our local team’s help, the new home was subsequently presented to a local healthcare provider and her young daughter. Congrats to the home’s recipient and thank you to our amazing volunteers!
