Global

Kristi Jenkins spoke with Business Insider about the rising popularity of pizza ovens, as outdoor living spaces continue to top buyers’ wish lists. “Anything that makes that special or unique or better for entertaining has been a highly desirable feature,” she says, “and pizza ovens definitely fit that category.”
Scott Coggins gave his two cents on the value of smart home technology in a piece for Mansion Global. Despite the complications for new homeowners in a sale, “that doesn’t mean that homeowners who love the streamlined simplicity of internet-enabled tech shouldn’t indulge,” he explains, as most devices can move with you.
California
Inman reported on a record-breaking sale in Sierra Madre. The mid-century retreat closed for $1M over the asking price, with The Agency’s Sarah Rogers and Ashleigh Rader representing the seller as well as the buyer, who also had representation from Greg Krappman.
One of Billy Rose’s listings caught the attention of The Hollywood Reporter. The property, which formerly belonged to South Park co-creator Matt Stone, is located in a prime spot in the Silver Triangle. “What makes this property unique is that it’s like the tip of a peninsula,” Billy is quoted in the article. “So it gets tremendous light and it’s extremely private.” View the listing here.
Michael Grady and Natalie Courtright have listed the Santa Monica townhouse owned and designed by Donald Sutherland for rent, as reported by Robb Report.
New York Post reported the sale of Tommy Lee’s Calabasas mansion, quoting Emil Hartoonian, who described the property as “a unique balance of artistic functionality and tropical escape, the perfect blend of work balance and relaxation fit for rock royalty.”
Brad Gothberg’s listing was featured in The New York Times’ “What You Get Series” in an edition comparing $3.2M homes across California. The recently built Danville home boasts four bedrooms and a desirable location with easy access to town. View the listing here.
The New York Times also compared homes across California for $2.7M. Among the three highlighted was Elizabeth Thompson’s Mountain View listing, a three-bedroom home set on a quiet street only minutes from Google headquarters. View it here.
Gillian Jones earned a place on Palm Springs Life’s list of the 10 most expensive homes of 2022, coming in at number eight. She represented the buyer for the eighth property at the list, a standout among The Madison Club “with unique features for multigenerational entertaining,” including two pools.
New York
Molly Townsend appeared in Inman’s Broker Spotlight, recounting the early days of her career and the biggest learning opportunities to becoming the SVP and Managing Partner of The Agency New York, where she leads a team of 150 agents. “I love that choice and culture fit has become more and more valued in the industry,” she explains. “It has to be a partnership.”
Arizona
Congratulations are in order for Marilyn Cavanaugh, who was named among the Valley’s best real estate agents of 2023 by PHOENIX Magazine.
Florida
South Florida Business Journal reported that The Agency Palm Beach has moved to a new office, speaking with Managing Director Brian Fairweather on his plans for expansion as the Sunshine State continues to attract more clientele.
Texas
The Agency Austin’s Broker of Record Noa Levy graced the cover of the May issue of Real Producers Magazine.
Midwest & Pacific Northwest
Inman shared the news that The Agency will be opening its 81st franchise office in Boise, Idaho. Operations will be led by Mike and Robyn Moir alongside their daughter and partner in the business, Rachel Moir.
The Agency is expanding its footprint in the Midwest with a new Indianapolis office, as reported by Inman. The brokerage will be led by Traci Garontakos.
Canada
Paul Greenberg’s listing was named House of the Week by Toronto Life. The Lawrence Park house, which was built in 1914 by Casa Loma contractor Herbert Elgie, features five bedrooms, Scandinavian design influences and exposed brick and wood beams. View it here.

Mansion Global highlighted Sally Sudol’s dreamy eco-chic listing outside Tulum, known as Casa Don Rey. The private villa, which boasts 10,000 square feet, “is one of a kind,” she explains. “The home was designed to bring all the elements of Tulum’s nature and blur the boundaries of indoor and outdoor luxury living.” View the full listing here.
