In fact, agents, clients, and community members came together this month for the 100 Miles in May Challenge, our 2nd annual fundraising event for GiveBack Homes. 65 participants joined from around the globe, raising funds that will go towards building homes for those in need. The first three finishers won the chance to custom design their own Nike shoes, with the first-place winner finishing in just 6 days!

This month, Santiago launched a fundraiser for Synergy School, an educational project based on love and dedicated to the ethical and intellectual autonomy of students. The school focuses on leading children in South America to quality jobs and lives, regardless of their origin, creed or social condition and providing them with the tools they need to develop a successful future. Aimee Stern is donating a portion of her gross commission to MusiCares in support of its mental health and addiction recovery services for artists. This month she donated $10,000 to the organization in honor of Mental Health Awareness month. Having worked with musicians and members of the creative community throughout her career, this cause is very important to her, and she will be continuing to donate throughout the year and into the future.
Courtney Lingle has co-founded a nonprofit—South Bay Cares, an organization that builds connections and takes positive action on a variety of issues rooted in social causes. These causes include immigration, equity, LGBTQ+ rights, environmental activism, police brutality, disproportionate minority incarceration, voter suppression, equal educational opportunities, and other important issues that profoundly affect people’s day-to-day lives. During the pandemic, Fred Dapp tapped into his entrepreneurial spirit and created a 3D virtual tour business, You See 3D. This service provides technology such as Matterport to promote listing portfolios. You See 3D also virtually scans commercial spaces, art galleries, and construction sites. Virtual tours have grown to become an industry standard, saving buyers time when searching for a new home and providing them with an optimal at-home viewing experience.
