Built circa 1912 "The Brookford" is a charming neo-Renaissance apartment house designed by famed architects Schwartz & Gross. Noted for its facade's tripartite composition of brown brick, stone, and terra cotta, it gave inspiration to several neighboring buildings that followed in the '20s and '30s. A typical floor comprises of four apartments, each designated by direction, N=North, E=East, S=South, and W=West, with layouts ranging from one bedrooms to sprawling six bedroom duplex homes.
