Average Home Statistics
In the heart of San Francisco, California, is the small neighborhood of Duboce Triangle. The neighborhood is home to about 6,000 residents and is considered the glue that holds the nearby neighborhoods together. Almost every Muni train in San Francisco runs through, or under. Duboce Triangle. Although in the past the neighborhood has not had the best reputation, over recent years it has begun to grow and the residents are taking great pride in what is lovingly referred to as the “Art Deco Ghetto.” In the 1960s the federal government gave a large sum of money to the city for “slum clearance” but the city had a better idea. They used the money to bury utility lines, widen sidewalks and to renovate the many classic Victorian style homes in Duboce Triangle. Many were split into smaller condos.
