Villa Colinas Del Mar is a custom designed, ocean view home due to be completed February 2022. This three-bedroom home, with potential for a fourth bedroom or maids' quarters, is in Rancho Cerro Colorado on the 'Golden Corridor' in Los Cabos.

The designer utilizes "traditional structures", defined by the tiled gabled or shed roofs and simple architectural details, and ties them together with the contemporary flat-roofed rectangular forms at the center of the home. A large, paneled entry door with concrete surround provides handcrafted detail which contrasts with the simple details found throughout. The landscape is primarily desert with palm and palo verde trees. An intimate terrace off the living room provides al fresco living with a view, with heated infinity pool and outdoor entertaining area. Romeo and Juliet balconies, ironwork, tile roofs and custom parota wood entry doors reflect Mexico's architectural traditions. Expansive glass doors in the living areas and bedrooms, simple trim details, and modern roof forms provide a contemporary feel.

The main level includes a formal entry, living room, dining room and kitchen. Living areas provide access to the exterior pool and terrace area with views beyond the blue sea and white waves. The master bedroom and two guest suites are located on the upper floors and offer sea views and en-suite baths. The master bath includes a soaking tub, walk-in shower, dual vanities, and separate water closet. Guest baths include dual vanities and large walk-in showers.

Design features include a handcrafted fireplace with concrete, tile, and wood accents in the living room, an artisan crafted chandelier in the dining room, built-in parota wood cabinetry marble and tile floors, vaulted ceilings, and steel collar ties. Oversized sliding glass doors in living areas and bedrooms connect to outdoor living spaces.

The custom chef's kitchen offers a gas range and hood with patterned Mexican concrete tiles, parota kitchen cabinets and handcrafted concrete countertops. GE Profile appliances include a five-burner cooktop, convection oven, French door refrigerator and dishwasher. The pass-through window in kitchen provides views to the sea, and easy service to the outdoor entertaining space. The interior stairs connect to the powder room, detached garage, laundry, and large pantry or owner's closet. A detached two car garage offers storage and room for a service quarters or fourth bedroom below.
