Lucy is the best agent ever! She has a fantastic knowledge base of landlords, buildings, and even building staff that was incredibly valuable in our search. More importantly though, as first timers in New York we faced a lot of indecision and uncertainty - but she gave fantastic advice at every step of the way that helped give us peace of mind. Between the pandemic and renting sight unseen from halfway across the country, we faced some challenges that would have been incredibly difficult to navigate without her. She got us through it and found the absolute perfect apartment. We live here now and we love it. One thing I want to talk about specifically is that we went into renting with the mindset that we could do it ourselves. That led to zero submitted offers and constantly being unsure if we were doing the right thing. Lucy took us from scouring StreetEasy for hours to hopping on FaceTime calls and checking out places that were more our style. When it came time to negotiate we told her what we wanted and she got it for us. It was easy and (almost) stress free. Having someone like Lucy to help find you the right place and negotiate on your behalf will change your entire renting experience. One last point I want to make here is that Lucy's personality is perfect for the renting process. She told it to us straight when we needed to hear the truth, but also listened and educated us when we wanted to learn. She's even given me a ton of career advice and knowledge about New York real estate. We had fun with her and she's checked on us multiple times after we signed to give advice and help us with our move. I'm confident that there aren't many people in this city that care about their clients as much as she does. To future renters: Don't waste your time trying to do it by yourself.
