As General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Brandon Braga holds an integral, multifaceted role at The Agency. In addition to fostering a positive, solution-oriented environment, Brandon is particularly proud to be a part of the firm's uniquely collaborative company culture. In his role as General Counsel, Brandon is responsible for overseeing The Agency's and its affiliates' legal affairs, including litigation, real estate, intellectual property, corporate and franchising matters, as well as developing, implementing and overseeing risk management policies and procedures. He also is routinely consulted during significant business decisions. A natural team player and a calm yet quick-thinking problem-solver, Brandon learned early on that ensuring a positive outcome for clients requires being exceptionally detail-oriented. "I try to follow the wisdom of a former mentor, who always instructed me to 'Take care of the details and the rest will fall into place,'" says Brandon. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego, Brandon received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and later his LLM in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School. Prior to joining The Agency, he spent a decade gaining in-depth experience in a range of legal settings-from internships with the Los Angeles Public Defender's office to working on employment, professional liability, corporate and intellectual property litigation and transactional matters at small and large firms and in-house. Brandon is also a patent attorney. With offices across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, The Caribbean and Europe, The Agency continues to evolve and redefine the real estate industry. Looking ahead, Brandon is excited to help The Agency grow its global footprint. A native of Los Angeles, Brandon enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three children.
