Well known for her tireless drive to care for others, and provide meaningful support to clients, colleagues and neighbors, Catherine Krueger is a universally respected member of The Agency and her community with more than 24 years of local experience, specializing in East Bay communities.
Today, Catherine leads The Vives Krueger Team alongside her daughter Elise, and serves buyers and sellers throughout the East Bay, Berkeley, Oakland and the broader Bay Area region.
Persistent and enthusiastic, Catherine is the kind of agent every client wants in their corner, whether they are staging their home to sell, buying property for the first time or entering competitive negotiations. Her past awards and accolades include being named Best of El Cerrito by Small Business Excellence and a Trusted Agent from Zillow and Rate My Agent. "I offer every one of my clients the highest level of service possible, and I happily take the lead when it comes to helping them achieve their real estate dreams," says Catherine. An honest, engaging and encouraging communicator, Catherine's love for her profession shines through in every aspect of her service. Over her decades of experience in the industry, she has cultivated deep personal relationships with her clients and colleagues and amassed extensive knowledge of the real estate market, both locally and nationally.
Born and raised in the South of France, Catherine moved to the U.S. in 1993 to teach French at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She returned to France to start law school, and soon got married and relocated to Northern California permanently in 1996. A devoted professional leader and community advocate, Catherine has been involved in several local nonprofits and associations, including the local government relations committee, the Grievance committee, the Climate Action Committee and the Senior Resource Committee, along with participating in the National Night Out and Earth Day with the city of El Cerrito. In the past she has also served as Chair for the Crime Prevention Committee with the city of El Cerrito and was also the former president of the Board of Directors of BAARC (Bay Area Animal Rescue Coalition). Catherine has also co-edited a guide, "World Affairs Organizations in Northern California," with the now defunct non-profit organization, World Without War Council.
Outside the office, Catherine enjoys traveling back to France to see her family, skiing in Tahoe or Utah, playing tennis, hiking and backpacking with her family.
