David Findley

Named one of the top 15 real estate agents in the U.S. by The Wall Street Journal, David is widely recognized for his energetic, down-to-earth approach and his extensive knowledge of unique luxury properties. He joined The Agency in July of 2016, having long admired the collaborative spirit of the team.

For David, real estate is a personal matter, and he considers himself more of a home matchmaker than an agent, pairing clients with exceptional lifestyle properties that will transform their lives into something more joyful and enriching. He recognizes a home is not only a significant financial investment but a health investment, and takes great care in tailoring his approach to suit his clients unique and evolving needs.

Drawing on over 30 years of experience in the luxury real estate market and a degree in psychology, he’s spent decades researching the happiest and healthiest neighborhoods in the world, identifying what sets them apart, and finding the ideal property for every client. From estates with an accompanying vineyard or an ocean for a front yard to stables and trails for horses or a designated helicopter pad, David has matched countless clients with extraordinary homes that changed their lives.

As a Certified International Property Specialist, David also works with international clients who are relocating or adding to their real estate portfolio overseas. No stranger to the industry, he has the negotiating skills and know-how to expertly handle all aspects of a successful transaction, advising clients every step of the way and always looking to find the win-win in any situation.

David spent his early childhood years on a farm in Northeast Missouri. He graduated from Vermont College of Norwich University with a degree in psychology before doing graduate work in the counseling psychology program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. He also spent several years facilitating personal growth seminars with an emphasis on personal responsibility and options for living a win-win focused life.

When he’s not matchmaking, David enjoys playing music and spending time with Dane Findley, his spouse of over two decades and his favorite person on the planet. He counts his career in real estate among his greatest joys.
