With more than four decades of dedicated service in the Anchorage real estate market, Janelle has built a legacy defined by leadership, integrity, and results. She began her real estate career in 1980 and joined RE/MAX Dynamic Properties in 1985, where she has consistently been a top producer and trusted advisor. A proud graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage, Janelle earned her bachelor's degree cum laude in 1978 - a reflection of the work ethic and commitment to excellence that continue to define her career today.
Janelle's professional accomplishments are both extensive and distinguished. She has been honored as both Anchorage and Alaska REALTOR® of the Year (2006 and 2010), named CRS of the Year, and served as National President of the Residential Real Estate Council in 2016. Her impact extends well beyond real estate; she is a recipient of the YWCA Woman of Achievement Award (2007) and was inducted into the Athena Society in 2009, recognizing her leadership and commitment to empowering others.
A passionate community advocate, Janelle has served in numerous leadership roles, including Chairperson of the Board for the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce (2015), Chair of the Providence Children's Hospital Advisory Council, Chair of Athena Events, Co-Chair of the Go Red for Women event, and Co-Chair of the Breast Cancer Focus Group. She has also contributed her time to the YWCA Board of Directors, the Anchorage 2000 Advisory Board, Friends of Scouts as an Assistant Scout Master and Patrol Advisor, the Japanese Immersion Parents Advisory Committee, and as a certified Master Gardener. Through every role, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to strengthening the community she calls home.
Despite her many professional and civic achievements, Janelle considers one of her greatest accomplishments raising three wonderful children and now enjoying life as a proud grandmother to five grandchildren.
