Jenny Montgomery left Vancouver and moved to Pender Island with her family in 2015 with the dream of raising her son surrounded by nature and finding a solid sense of community. She fell in love with the island immediately and knew she had found the right place to put her roots down. During her 9 years on Pender Island, she has built a successful business and established herself in the community. In 2021, Jenny decided to pursue a long-time interest in real estate, and in 2022, she became licensed and started helping clients reach their real estate goals.
Jenny is thrilled to be a part of The Agency, based in the Victoria office and serving the Southern Gulf Islands while residing on Pender Island. Leveraging her deep local knowledge and connection to the community, Jenny loves helping buyers find the perfect property that fits their needs and vision, and she is committed to working through the intricate details to bring that vision to life.
Jenny's passion for real estate is driven by her desire to make a difference in people's lives, supporting them through what can be a difficult process. She values the relationships she builds with clients, often extending beyond the transaction. Her biggest strengths as an agent include her ability to deeply understand and connect with her clients, her keen attention to detail, and her commitment to effective communication.
In addition to her real estate expertise, Jenny is also a mortgage broker, keeping her in touch with the latest developments in the mortgage industry, which benefits her clients. She grew up in Toronto and London, Ontario, and attended McMaster University in Hamilton. She also holds yoga and pilates teacher certifications, which she obtained in 2006.
Before her real estate career, Jenny taught yoga and pilates, both full-time and part-time, and she continues to teach semi-private classes at her studio on Pender Island. Her background in teaching has honed her skills in communication and client service, which translate seamlessly into her real estate career.
In her free time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, including her fiancé Adam, their two boys, and their goofy labradoodle named Loki. She loves practicing and teaching pilates, spinning, and attending concerts. She is also actively involved in the community as the Treasurer of the Pender Island PAC for her son's school.
Jenny is excited to help you with your real estate journey on Pender Island and the Southern Gulf Islands, bringing her professional and knowledgeable approach to every client interaction.
