A 39-year real estate veteran and Danville native, Jim Wright has watched the once quaint San Ramon, Diablo and Tri-Valley areas blossom into thriving communities with some of the most coveted residential real estate in the country. He brings a wealth of local knowledge, innovative marketing skills and refined negotiating expertise to The Agency. Before joining The Agency, Jim closed approximately $650 million in residential properties on behalf of Fortune 500 companies while working for the world's largest relocation company, often selling 20 homes a month to some of the top executives in their respective fields. His time as a relocation specialist left him with razor-sharp negotiating skills and well-honed marketing strategies that he carries into every transaction. Having previously worked for a national mortgage lender and commercial bank, Jim also serves as an invaluable guide to buyers navigating the process of obtaining a loan. Whether looking to move up, down, or just around the corner, Jim is committed to making the buying and selling process effortless and enjoyable for his clients while ensuring they secure the home of their dreams. Hailing from a real estate family that owned and operated a brokerage in Danville for decades, one might say real estate is in Jim's blood. A licensed agent since 1986, he was appointed to serve on the Contra Costa Association of Realtors Ethics Committee in 1992 and again in 1993. He has also served as President of the San Ramon Valley Junior Chamber of Commerce. Jim attended Monte Vista High School in Danville and graduated from California State University of Sacramento with a BS in Business Administration. An avid tennis player, when he's not representing clients in real estate, he enjoys playing at Round Hill Country Club, gardening, travel, and spending time outdoors.
