As a top-producing agent and a leading expert in Multi-Family property (apartment buildings) , Jon Swire has helped clients buy and sell over 500 apartments buildings valued in excess of $1BB throughout Los Angeles and the United States since 2002. He was the #3 Agent in the United States in 2006 and has earned numerous awards for performance. In 2021 he was ranked as the #215 agent in the U.S. by RealTrends + Tom Ferry The Thousand. In addition to being a real estate professional Jon has been teaching at UCLA Extension since 2006. His course titled Real Estate Investment Analysis, is a 11-week, 40-hour class designed to help students/investors navigate the investment real estate landscape and invest with confidence. His book and real estate investment program, titled There's No Free Lunch in Real Estate, is a how-to guide for investors. Jon has bought and sold over 40 properties for his own portfolio and overseen the rehab of 1,000+ units. He holds an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA and a B.S. in engineering from Northwestern.
