Josh Houde

Introducing Josh Houde, a former civil engineer who is excited to fully transition into the world of luxury real estate. As an Asheville native, Josh has lived in many of the diverse areas of beautiful Buncombe County. He knows all of the surrounding areas well and understands what makes each unique and desirable.

Josh currently resides in Swannanoa with his wife, Madelynn, and their new baby girl, Ruth. Being in close proximity to both the hustle and bustle of downtown Asheville and the charming, more laid-back town of Black Mountain leaves them with endless options for great food, hiking, and entertainment! Although Asheville is Josh's area of expertise, he became very familiar with Charlotte during his years attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Even though he no longer works directly in the engineering field, Josh still uses his engineering mindset to problem-solve. His expertise in land development provides him with a unique perspective that is rare for a real estate agent. Josh is also highly knowledgeable in the world of long- and short-term rentals. Having owned and operated his own Airbnbs for years, Josh has become a go-to expert for anyone looking to enter this lucrative business. This experience will be a great benefit to those working alongside Josh to find their next home or rental property.
