Passionate about market data, contract coaching, economics, history, public speaking and strategy, Mike’s real estate career launched in 2005 and he has spent the last six years in sales management, working to empower agents. A well-known, respected and beloved manager, he brings authenticity, care and a true commitment to his colleagues to The Agency.
Mike’s first tenure as a Sales Manager was at Coldwell Banker, where he was one of the top recruiters in the nation, doubling the size of the Berkeley office in a single year. He went on to become the first Sales Manager hired by Compass in Northern California and was instrumental in building out their Oakland and Berkeley offices. He worked with roughly 400 agents in the East Bay prior to joining The Agency. His offices were noted for both their production—exceeding 3 billion in annual production in 2021—as well as collaboration amongst colleagues and unparalleled culture.
A born and raised New Yorker, Mike spent his undergraduate years at UCLA. He currently lives in Berkeley with his wife, Joanna, who he met in college while doing activist work, and their two boys, Ethan and Blake. Mike dedicates his free time to his family, exploring new areas, walking, watching good movies and rooting for the Mets. Additionally, Mike is a voracious reader of history, politics, current events, economics and more. One of his favorite weekend activities is working through The New York Times’s Sunday print edition.
