Ron Shapiro sees relationships first and transactions second. A bona fide people person, he builds his success on a foundation of honesty, integrity and clear communication, putting the interest of his clients above all else. Working from the Calabasas office, Ron provides boutique-style service to buyers, sellers and investors throughout Los Angeles and particularly the San Fernando Valley.

Originally from New York, Ron relocated to L.A. in 1985 and has since learned his way around. He brings a nuanced understanding of the various neighborhoods he's called home, including Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Encino, Sherman Oaks and the Westside. With a passion for architecture and renovations, he specializes in matching clients to properties that will suit their lifestyles and effectively presenting homes to sell.

Before finding his way into real estate, Ron established a career in apparel industry sales, winning awards, breaking records and earning recognition from colleagues. Friends saw his potential and encouraged him to pursue real estate. Drawn to the dynamic nature of the business and its many challenges and opportunities, he earned his license. Today he loves helping clients navigate the complexities of buying and selling to reach their long-term goals.

When Ron isn't going to bat for clients in negotiations, he avidly follows major sports and tries to get in a round of golf or tennis when he can. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, rescue dog and two grown daughters.
