Martha Hunt

With rich experience in both real estate sales and development Martha Hunt joins The Agency to serve Los Angeles with a focus on Bel Air and Holmby Hills. Diligent, competitive and intuitive, Ms. Hunt offers clients the kind of local expertise that comes from decades of living in the area. Martha possesses the rare ability to read people, which makes her a powerful advocate in negotiations. Living by the maxim “Do the right thing,” Martha prioritizes her clients’ needs and interests above all else.

Ms. Hunt began her career in real estate in 1989 working at a CPA firm in the real estate investment trust (REIT) division. Educated in finance, and passionate about architecture, Martha earned her license with the intent to master residential sales. She found outstanding success as a broker-associate, and met the love of her life, Jon Douglas. When he sold his real estate company, the two began a new chapter. Martha devoted her time to raising their son Jimmy while collaborating with Jon on the development of various industrial, commercial and residential properties.



Originally from Rochester, New York, Ms. Hunt studied at the University of Colorado Boulder and relocated to Los Angeles to work in entertainment as an assistant director before transitioning to real estate. A lifelong athlete and accomplished triathlete, Martha became intimately familiar with the streets of Bel Air on her daily runs and bike rides. She is a proud finisher of the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona. When Ms. Hunt isn’t exercising or demonstrating equally impressive stamina in her real estate career, she enjoys spending time with her son and relaxing at home in Little Holmby.
