The leaves are falling, the weather is cooling, and Halloween is upon us… Fall has hit its stride, and there’s no better way to enjoy it than with the perfectly crafted autumn cocktail. Here are 10 recipes sure to put you in high spirits this November.
1. Smokin’ Apple
Ingredients:
2 oz whisky (such as The Macallan Fine Oak 10 Years Old).
.75 oz fresh lemon juice.
1.5 oz hand-pressed apple cider.
2 fresh figs 2-3 sage leaves.
.5 oz simple syrup
Directions:
Add ice.
Shake.
Strain over double rocks or martini glass.
Garnish with a sage leaf.

2. Fig Sidecar
This cocktail is a Beverly Hills Hotel original, using Black Mission figs infused with Remy Martin 1738 cognac. Together with spiced brown-sugar simple syrup for added sweetness, it’s a memorable, festive drink.
3. Maple Bacon Manhattan
2 oz infused Jim Beam Bacon Bourbon
½ oz Sweet Vermouth
½ oz 100% pure Maple Syrup
1 Dash Angostura Bitters
Combine all ingredients over ice in a mixing pint. Stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass with a julep strainer. If you like, garnish with a strip of crispy, good-quality bacon.

4. Smokey & the Bandit
Chipotle infused “White Pike” Whiskey, smoked bourbon sugar, fresh lime juice, shaken and served in a cold hickory smoked glass – Simple and delicious.
5. Apple Cider Sangria
1 1/2 cups cinnamon simple syrup
1 bottle white wine
2 cups Apple Pie Vodka
2 cups ginger brandy
4 cups apple cider
4 apples, cubed
8 – 10 cinnamon sticks
6. Caramel Apple Pie Martini
1 oz. chilled vanilla vodka
1/2 oz. butterscoth schnapps
1/2 oz. apple pucker schnapps
dash of cream soda
Add crushed cinnamon graham crackers to spread around the rim of the glass.
7. Autumn Leaves
Ingredients:
4 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
1/2 oz Benedictine
1/4 oz Chambord Liqueur
1 Rinse Green Chartreuse
2 Dashes Regans Orange Bitters
Top with soda
Directions:
Add all ingredients in an ice filled mixing glass except for the green Chartreuse.
Stir for 20 seconds.
Rinse a glass with the green Chartreuse and strain the mixing glass into the coupe.

8. Cinnamon Sparkler
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Kahlúa Cinnamon Spice
2 ½ oz Sparkling Apple Cider
Squeeze of lemon
Directions:
Shake Kahlúa and lemon.
Add sparkling cider.
Garnish with dash of nutmeg or cinnamon.
9. Silver Blossom
Ingredients:
1 oz NOLET’S Silver Dry Gin
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 oz Apparel
One wedge (about 1/8) of a Blood Orange
Directions:
Muddle blood orange wedge in cocktail shaker.
Add ice and other ingredients and stir well.
Strain into a martini glass.
10. Japanese Old Fashioned
Black sugar, or kuru sato, is a common item in Japanese baking, made by boiling unrefined sugar cane. Combined with ginger, it a deep molasses flavor and a nice spice to the traditional old fashioned. This drink suggestion is courtesy of the Brooklyn restaurant Shalom Japan.
