Halloween Cocktail Theatre Brings Mixology To Ocean 41 Club

by | Oct 23, 2014

Brace yourselves, craft cocktail aficiaonados , for Rob Flyod’s Halloween Cocktail Theatre is just around the corner. Starting this Friday, October 24th, the “Zombie Apocalypse”-themed show returns to the exclusive members-only 41 Ocean Club in Santa Monica for what will be a spooktacular evening of cocktails, food pairings, and theatrics.

Mixologist Rob Floyd is known for designing specialty cocktails and experiences for brands such as Aston Martin and SLS Hotels and events like the Oscars and the Grammy’s, delivering unforgettable nights of tasting and entertainment. Described as “History Channel meets Rocky Horror Picture Show”, live performers dressed up in disguise emerge from behind the bar as guests are offered five signature cocktails and a trio of dishes prepared by 41 Ocean Club’s Chef Jimmmy Martinez.

Rob Floyd’s staple show has traveled to locations far and wide—ranging from audiences of 10 to 350—yet what makes his return to L.A. truly special is the fact that serving as the director on the Cocktail Theatre is member Cameron Romero, son of George Romano, the famous film director best known for his series of gruesome and satirical horrow films about a hypothetical zombie apocalypse, beginning with Night of the Living Dead.
